Forcing developers to write a political statement to be used against them by the hate mob theyโre helping organize is abhorrent.

this is just ABSURD. they have completely lost sight of what the โOPENโ part is supposed to mean.
open source was built on freedom to create and share, not on policing the tools people use.
this is gatekeeping a movement born to fight gatekeeping.

4 months ago I cloned Airtable for a client in 5 days because they refused to pay Airtable $500/mo
months later, Iโm still maintaining it
every two weeks itโs another edge case, a UI tweak, or a "quick 10-minute request." Theyโve easily spent 10x more in headaches than the $2,000 they wouldโve paid Airtable
just proving that SaaS isn't dead. Cloning isn't enough, if you want it to be same quality as original it becomes a full time job
and at this point isn't it easier to just pay?

DNA tests should be automatic at this point. Too many men have raised kids that arent theirs.

I'm sorry but when artists go like "my art is better than this AI slop" and then post art that's not like super impressive it's just really embarrassing.
Okay I built it!
๐ฐ Infinite Slop
levels.io/infinite-slop
An infinite and interactive AI generated live stream of slop that goes on forever and ever
Anything that you write in the chat is generated next and AI will try to connect it to the previous video so there's an actual sequence and story line
Idea by @marcantoinefon and @rehan_shei's original stream so I made it
It'd be very expensive to run this so @fal very generously sponsors this
They also fine-tuned the model that makes this possible for the first time, making Minimax H3 50x faster and as "Max" and it can now generate videos faster than you can watch them, very cool!
Let me know what you think!!!! ๐
Today is a very historical moment for AI video generation
You can now generate AI video faster than you can watch it
Before it'd take let's say 2-5 minutes to generate 15 seconds of video
@fal made a post-trained Minimax H3 variant called Max which is 50x faster than the original but still maintains quality
It generates 15 seconds of video in 9 seconds!
That means you can now do new things like build a perpetual livestream with it that never ends!

Releasing the model weights and technical report of Kimi K3.
Kimi K3 is our most capable model: a 2.8T MoE model with native visual understanding and a 1M-token context window.
New model architecture: 2.5x the intelligence per unit of compute, not just more params.
Alongside Kimi K3, we're opening up more of the stack behind it โ high-performance attention kernels, MoE communication library, and infrastructure for running agent environments at scale.

Japan has police boxes everywhere.
They're called koban. Tiny ones on street corners, run by a few officers in shifts. About 14,000 across the country if you count the rural ones too.
You go there for stuff like asking directions, turning in a wallet you found, or reporting something. Honestly, a lot of people just stop by to say hi.
The officers walk around the neighborhood. They know who lives where. Kids wave at them on the way to school.
Singapore copied the whole system in 1983. Their crime rates dropped. Brazil and parts of the US have done the same.
Japan didn't make policing better.
They made it friendlier. ๐ฏ๐ต
