Neil Bush, brother of one President Bush & son of another President Bush, just posted that he voted for @JamesTalarico. Neil still lives in the same neighborhood as father did for decades here in Houston.

For US citizens or documented residents/vistors who have their phones/laptop/diaries etc. grabbed at ports of entry, the quickest relief is a Rule 41 (g) application to the district court that covers the area of seizure. Get yourself counsel and file. Typically DOJ will fold.

Gonna repeat my election recommendation here: If you have to drive more than 2 miles/15 minutes to vote, or wait more than 30 minutes, then vote against every single county incumbent on the ballot. Period. Whichever party. Those are the national benchmarks.

Here are the details: literally any time, any place, any network.
Fox host: President Trump said you all should have a debate… Is that in the works? Are you requesting one with him? Ken Paxton (lying): Oh well, no, look... We can never quite work out the details.

RIP Mark Rothko. You would have loved this.
Just flew right by the reflecting pool on approach to DCA. Looks like this morning’s hydrogen peroxide bleaching is having an effect on the perimeter.

For decades, Dan Patrick has sold out the poor, the sick, and the vulnerable to enrich his donors. Love feels like blasphemy when you worship power.
Texas Lt. Governor Dan Patrick says James Talarico is “going to Hell”: “I’ve never seen so much blasphemy from anyone running for office… He’s going to Hell, for sure.”

A deputy in Brazoria County, TX, watched a few teenage boys work out in a park a recent evening. When they noticed him, they became worried and left. He followed them back to one of the boys' homes and flipped on his lights. The scared driver pulled into his garage, hoping for help from his dad. The deputy walked up and shot him dead. He was unarmed. substack.com/home/post/p-201…

.@jamestalarico: People across the political spectrum are really hungry for a different kind of politics. We've had a politics over the last 10 years that makes us feel angry and afraid. But we haven't had a politics that makes us feel hopeful, makes us feel excited about the future. I do feel like that's the kind of politics we're building in Texas.
