AGAIN. I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt for a casual observation, but he SOUGHT me out to show me a picture of her. And explain WHY I looked like her. Like, okay my dude, we all know by now you associate me with ugly and awkward but why do you need to TELL me???
Someone, not being malicious at all, told me today that I look like Mary Bennet (1995). Welp.

I will say, I do have a square jaw, weak chin, wear glasses, and read books, so like...Accurate in some ways I guess.

Okay okay, last thought, of comfort. This doesn't really matter for me reading any of y'all's books bc I will just assume they are omniscient if in 3rd person and none wiser. (Can you tell I can't sleep tonight?)
Also two af my pet peeves are: 1. Being ask how many points of view my book has. (Idk man. I'll give you whatever perspective whenever the heck I want like a normal author) 2. Being accused of head hopping when I'm just being normal omniscient (I understand it can be done poorly)

In my opinion, "multi pov" should Never be used to describe 3rd person. It only became a thing bc people were doing it in first person, especially in romance (which I hated bc it felt like cheating). Now, people act like it's always been that way when it's actually very new.

Apparently something I'm irrationally passionate about is being anti multi pov. Just write omniscient, cowards. (Jk I adore all of you and your writing, I'm just salty bc the rise of the term 'multi pov' since the 2010s was so unnecessary and has made marketing more annoying)

I'm just so content that it doesn't seem to be slaughtering the story like every other book adaptation lately
β€œIt is a truth universally acknowledged…” Emma Corrin and Jack Lowden star in Pride and Prejudice, a series by Dolly Alderton. Premieres December 3.

There's a "Dress up only if you want" kind of party, which is confusing for someone who loves dressing up but also very socially anxious, so I'm strongly considering pulling the Hamlet costume -- all black and carrying a skull

I keep seeing this post and I need someone to tell me who that person in the clip is and why it looks so much like Djaq in Robin Hood

I wish I could remember *why* the girl in my dream last night was hiding from police on a train. Seemed intriguing

I'm fairly privileged enough that I don't get head-on bigotry super often from people I know, but when I do, it's always weird like...okay...well, nothing I say can make you see me, so...now what

*Taking note of pattern*
A piece of history before it becomes a dress. It’s fascinating to see how a flat piece of silk, shaped by the hands of skilled makers over 300 years ago, could become such an elegant gown.
