I will say, I do have a square jaw, weak chin, wear glasses, and read books, so like...Accurate in some ways I guess.

Haha, thanks. The weird thing is I don't think he's being mean. I think he's just really that socially clueless the poor dear
AGAIN. I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt for a casual observation, but he SOUGHT me out to show me a picture of her. And explain WHY I looked like her. Like, okay my dude, we all know by now you associate me with ugly and awkward but why do you need to TELL me???

Yes! You understand!
Okay okay, last thought, of comfort.
This doesn't really matter for me reading any of y'all's books bc I will just assume they are omniscient if in 3rd person and none wiser.
(Can you tell I can't sleep tonight?)
Also two af my pet peeves are:
1. Being ask how many points of view my book has. (Idk man. I'll give you whatever perspective whenever the heck I want like a normal author)
2. Being accused of head hopping when I'm just being normal omniscient (I understand it can be done poorly)
In my opinion, "multi pov" should Never be used to describe 3rd person. It only became a thing bc people were doing it in first person, especially in romance (which I hated bc it felt like cheating). Now, people act like it's always been that way when it's actually very new.
Apparently something I'm irrationally passionate about is being anti multi pov. Just write omniscient, cowards.
(Jk I adore all of you and your writing, I'm just salty bc the rise of the term 'multi pov' since the 2010s was so unnecessary and has made marketing more annoying)

K tho that's why I go for omniscient

I try to use syntax and diction more for accents unless I'm writing silly pirate stuff. Accents can very quickly be subtle racism, but also I've read such cringe Scottish accents from people who don't speak Scottish, it can also just be painful when poorly done

It feels the BBC 2000s Austen adaptations to me. Like, okay but not exactly it
There's a "Dress up only if you want" kind of party, which is confusing for someone who loves dressing up but also very socially anxious, so I'm strongly considering pulling the Hamlet costume -- all black and carrying a skull
I wish I could remember *why* the girl in my dream last night was hiding from police on a train. Seemed intriguing
I'm fairly privileged enough that I don't get head-on bigotry super often from people I know, but when I do, it's always weird like...okay...well, nothing I say can make you see me, so...now what

I prefer omniscient --or single if it's first person, obviously. "Multi" used to really bug me bc it was hard to feel immersed when I couldn't base myself in one pov

Strength of the Lord kind of tough comes through prayer, I think. But other toughness, you want to be careful it doesn't harden your heart as well.
But as for toughness and femininity, definitely not incompatible and very bibical woman (Deborah, for example)

Im such a romantic, all my and my sisters' barbie games as kids always paired up as many people as possible, and I'm always thrilled when it happens in books haha. But I do get trying to keep it real
