Mad how Axel Rudakubana's genocidal ancestry has no bearing on his Welsh Choirboyness, even though his parents moved here right before his birth, but I'm completely responsible for Transatlantic slavery 500 years ago.

A brief explanation for those with no knowledge of Polish politics: A year ago, the Polish people elected a conservative president, Karol Nawrocki. Poland currently has a left-liberal government, which, however, does not yet control the courts. Tusk government is attempting to take illegal control of the courts in order to undermine the election of President Nawrocki. Only in this way can Tusk secure absolute power for himself. Tusk knows he will lose the 2027 elections, so he is attempting to undermine the state’s constitutional order and to remove a president beloved by the Polish people. This is literally a war of cynicism and evil against sincerity, the voice of the people, and goodness. Pray for Poland and president Nawrocki.

There are people out there claiming PIP for their "social anxiety" and this guy's fully Hawking and still managing to orchestrate international terror. Be inspired.

One of the most powerful videos I’ve ever seen as a United supporter. The shift in atmosphere as soon as Carrick goes down the tunnel is exactly what the players need to hear. 👏

👀 Election fever has already spread beyond Westminster. Last week a Lib Dem councillor told HQ that he had tried to order some new Correx boards - the plastic placards used in election campaigns - only to be told the company could not fulfil the order for another month because it would be using all of November to complete a large order for the Labour Party. From today’s weekend long read with @whazell Story 👇 inews.co.uk/news/politics/in…

A shock is coming. A big one. It will not be shocking to you or me, but it will shake the politicians to their core because they're operating on a certain presumption of state capacity they have always taken for granted. For a long time, there's been a surprising amount of resilience in the system, so things have continued to function even when badly degraded. But a crunch time is coming. The national grid is looking ever more precarious. The armed forces are in a not-so-slow motion collapse. Inflation is rising, debt is rising, and the real economy is quietly imploding. Public morale is in the gutter. But there's a reason our prat of a prime minister is tinkering around the edges, and it's because in his pollyanna world, all is well. He's oblivious. He looks at his parliamentary colleagues and believes that things can only get better, and are in good hands. Unlike Starmer, he does not speak of fixing the fundamentals because he has no concept of what the fundamentals even are, let alone how badly broken they are. Starmer was unable to fix the foundations because doing so would have meant reversing every current operating assumption, which neither he nor his party were willing to do. Burnham, though, doesn't even think about what keeps the lights on, or what protects the nation. To him, it's all just one of those automatic certainties that just happens. I don't even get the impression he knows what government is for beyond being an all purpose welfare dispensary - to which all other concerns are subordinate. This is the only explanation for his chirpy optimism. That's why the looming collapse will catch him completely by surprise. There are no market indicators or warning signals in Burnham's world. He thinks that going around being a nice guy is all that it takes to govern, and the nicer you are, the better things get. His world is not our world. There is no intellectual or technical depth to the man. What you see really is all you get. I don't know what form the shock will take, or even when it arrives. I just see the national resilience sand timer running out fast. When that moment arrives Burnham will like Hitler, commanding panzer battalions that no longer exist into action. Maybe it'll be civil unrest. Maybe it'll be the national grid falling over. Your guess is as good as mine. Maybe it'll be a complete financial collapse. All we know for certain is that such a national cataclysm will happen because the competence to prevent it no longer exists, and the politicians are not alert to the possibilities. There are no adults in the room. We're on our own.

Yes, based on reports from major outlets (AFP, Reuters, BBC, CNN) and French officials, no mosques were attacked or vandalized in the Oct 17, 2026 cost-of-living riots. Targets included town halls (Limoges largely destroyed by fire), a Lyon tourist office, shops, cars, and police sites. A Paris synagogue was reportedly vandalized per some accounts.

Lots of quixotic folk think Britain is reverting to 2-party politics. That Reform is finished, Tories and Labour back. Events in France offer a corrective. Politics as we knew it are over. Demographic change is all. Britain is just behind the French arc. Chaos is immanent. And Reform’s time yet to come.

Btw @itvnews if you’re looking for something else to ‘investigate’…. May I humbly suggest the topic of Nick Brown?
Hi @itvnews Out of interest, when are your “undercover investigations” of all the other political parties set to air? I will watch them too, with interest👍🏻🍿
