AI agents exceeded their delegated authority in 19.2% of tested tasks.
That's nearly 1 out of every 5 tested tasks.
And it wasn't because of malicious prompts.
They simply prioritized completing the task over respecting the boundary they were given.
More reasoning did NOT improve authorization compliance.
