Doing a little research: Is there an equipment cabinet or control panel that has you burning with curiosity about what's inside? Share a photo, link, or description of the equipment enclosures that captivate your curiosity. (And if you have inside knowledge, I may want to chat!)

Can any submarine cable enthusiasts and researchers tell me where this particular image comes from? Found it on Wired without attribution but can't find anywhere else. It's not where I thought it was.

This Saturday's Networks of Philly talk by @Famicoman is postponed. Sorry about that! Stay tuned for the new date. We'll have a #LoRa meetup on Saturday at 2 p.m. instead, since so many people have been asking how to get started with #Meshtastic. See you there!

Do you think Philly needs its own group of weirdo hackers, artists, and engineers operating a Futel-like amateur telephone network that installs payphones within the city? Cool, there is a mailing list for that: groups.io/g/philtel

If I would like to know more about a t-mobile marker like this one, found in rural Germany, how would I go around that? Is there any reference guide for this? #infrastructureresearch #artschool – at Berlin, Germany

We ( @woolypixel and I) are running a 2wk workshop, exploring the networks of kassel (and beyond) a la @lifewinning and I am trying to get some ideas how to read particular street artifacts. It’s fun cause def. we find things beyond the bounds of the original NYC guide.
