Can’t wait for the Pgmol apology….. how many times do they send out apologies, it’s becoming a joke, how can you still be getting these sort of decisions wrong? When the whole nation and probably world come to the same decision (penalty) but the people who are hired and so called professionals in that field get it so wrong….. it’s either on purpose or simply not qualified and should not be sitting in that position to make important calls. There is no grey area here it’s blatant.

Timber should have been sent off for the shirt pull on Isak. So, a penalty and Arsenal down to 10 men

So….
Alexander Isak was wrong TO NOT throw himself to the floor, and
Alexis Mac Allister was wrong TO throw himself to the floor…

It’s the fact it wouldn’t have just been a penalty. Timber would have been sent off as he didn’t make an attempt to play the ball. Laws of the game state if you deny a clear goal scoring opportunity in the box and you don’t make an attempt to play the ball. It’s a penalty and a red card

Of the 42 referees who've taken charge of 3+ Liverpool Premier League games since 2000, Andy Madley has the worst foul balance against us: -2.87 per game

I forgot Stuart Atwell was on VAR today, the same one that gave Sesko's handball, didn't review Odegaard's handball and Doku's studs challenge on Macca. Everything makes sense now. He's just asleep in front of the screen everytime anything happens or something.

The first picture is from Chelsea vs Nottingham Forest on May 4, 2026. Gusto pulled Awoniyi’s shirt while he was attempting to head a cross, and Forest were awarded a penalty.
Fast-forward to today’s Liverpool vs Arsenal game: Gabriel clearly pulled Isak’s shirt in a similar situation, preventing him from getting to the cross, yet VAR refused to award a penalty.
So, what exactly is the standard here? How can two seemingly similar incidents produce completely different decisions?
The inconsistency in Premier League officiating is becoming ridiculous. And Arsenal seem to keep benefiting from these decisions.
We deserve consistency, not selective application of the rules.

Around 40 minutes ago Neville, on comms, said that Isak should have made more of the pull on him in the box. Now he is saying Mac Allister is embarrassing for exaggerating contact.
How can you argue for players to make contact clear to the ref in one example and not the other
