Number of rival fans not getting the self deprecating humour of City fans is, in itself, fucking hillarious.

Luis Enrique on #ManCity's situation: “There’s always a lot of noise around big clubs. Everyone will have to wait for the final decision from the person who’ll make the decision. We’ll wait and I hope it ends well for @ManCity because everything that was done on the field has been incredible. They deserved to win all the trophies they won..." [via @PSG_Report]

What the fuck do these people want from Haaland and co? Black armbands? Apologies after scoring? Kneeling down in front of the Kop begging for forgiveness? It's nonsense man. They went and did their job as footballers.

Manchester City supporters have been able to sneak their inflatable bananas into the away end at Anfield this afternoon.
It has been a trend at City since the 1987-88 season when they had been relegated to the second tier.
They had a striker called Imre Varadi, who was called Imre Banana by one fan. That led another fan to bring an inflatable banana with him to the next game and it was a trend that stuck throughout the rest of the 80s and the 90s.
The travelling City fans are clearly trying to have a bit of fun in the face of discussion about a potential relegation back to the second tier, or lower.

David Moyes: "#ManCity have helped raise the levels of the Premier League by the level of football they've played, and their manager, the players they've had have been unbelievable!
"I was laughing speaking to somebody saying, 'All the managers who had to play them, we all had to park the bus, they were that good!' Everybody used to say, 'David, why are you not letting them play, not having a go?!' I was saying, 'Do you see the players they've got?!'
"So I actually feel for a lot of managers, it was tough! They were such a good side, it was great times to play against Pep's teams - they had so many good players..." [via @Everton]
