It's frustrating to feel that there's something vaguely wrong with a newly finished artwork. Usually it takes me about a week to see it.

I use "AI output", it's neutral and cold enough to give an accurate impression of a grey machine-made block of metaphysical nothing.

The fact that you know they're going to lie implies that those genAI games are a scam to begin with. That's why you want them to stay in the store with no filter-out option. No one wants this shit. Let them lie and get banned, fine by me.

I think that the belief in the death of the author is the most frustrating example of that. You can explore yourself through the book, you can interpret it and play with it's ideas, but at the end of a day the author is the sole source of meaning when it comes to the writing. It's like playing an advanced guessing game, you can't deny the contents of a box just because you enjoyed the process of a game more that the result of it. Ideas that are inspired by books may still be valid, but they don't have to be forced on top of whatever writer wanted to achieve.

They are not paranoid nor deranged, their reaction is entirely appropriate. I would rather live in a reality where my colleagues can accuse me of using GenAI because of a mistake, than in a world where people are so unconcerned about AI slop that they stop paying attention to it and catching scammers in their community red-handed. At least now we can say that those who are hypervigilant towards AI are motivated by something good; they are acting in good faith. The same cannot be said about any genAI user, especially those who pose as artists. This reality is forced upon us, no one wants it, and the only people who can change anything are monetarily incentivized to make world shittier for everyone.

Two days, actually. The thing is, I may not be a very good artist, but I am an artist nonetheless. AI slop can compete with me in corporate enviroment, where everything depends on the boss, who doesn't know what art is, has no taste for it, or zero respect for himself and his target audience, but in the realm of art, AI is no competitor to me or really anyone in this field, even to children's scribbles on the side of the road. GenAI is not an art form nor art tool, and that won't change despite your attempts to wear taken artists faces in the hope of deceiving those around you. GenAI users are digital skinwalkers and AI slop is simply a new way for people to express their anti-social compulsions, nothing more.

Damn, I guess she can't draw properly after all, that's the first time I'm fooled by tech. This situation was pretty informative, now I know about AR tracing, about keying-out green to hide an image you are tracing. I wonder what would be the next way for them to cheat their way into art space.

You were accused of tracing AI images instead of drawing them yourself, not of being unable to draw at all. The speedpaint shown in your previous post demonstrates a different level of drawing skill, and is fundamentally different to what was published earlier. For example, could you explain why there were no sketches in the previous speedpaints? You immediately made line art instead, which barely changed throughout the process. This is basically impossible to do if for any normal human being. I don't know any artists capable of this. Even Kim Jung Gi had a specific sketchy style for cases where he had to demonstrate his unique skill level. But I have an even better idea. Can you show on camera how you create line art for a complex pose without using a sketch? No, you can't, which is why there's a sketch in the last speedpaint but not in the one where you traced the AI image. All artists know exactly what tracing an existing image looks like, and this is definitely the case for you. That's not even the worst part. Your tracing was so sloppy and lazy that you drew the barrel on the opposite side of the gun. It's not hard to imagine who you think your audience is when you publish something like this and justify it by saying you don't know what a gun looks like. It's an insult to people's intelligence. Everyone in the world knows which side of a gun the barrel is on. Everyone knows which side the bullet comes from. At the weary least you can't know what an anime thirst trap is, but know nothing about guns to the point that not even common sense helps you, not to mention references.

What surprises me most about people like Asamiarts is that they are willing to spend hours writing walls of text, justifying and explaining how they owe nothing to anyone, but when it comes to evidence, they never have the time, desire, or obligation to take responsibility for their own actions. It would be enough to post at least a speedpaint showing the process of working on the drawing from scratch, which would take a few minutes. But everyone understands that if you can't do something and are not ready to admit guilt, you have no other choice but to obfuscate reality. Moreover, you have to be a very special kind of person to farm likes using AI just because your own drawings did not attract any attention, and then blame real artists for not getting enough likes on their own work. Do something with your life. Be normal.
