Corey Jones wants to remove the Pledge of Allegiance from Providence schools. One small problem: Rhode Island General Law § 16-22-11 requires it. Apparently, reading the laws governing public education wasn’t on the School Board orientation agenda. You can’t make this stuff up!

What a crock of cr$p! Who would have thought politics was behind these groups. I really shouldn’t be surprised, but I am. No more $$$ from me. .
🚨 VETERAN ORGS FUNDING DEMS 🚨 VFW & DAV employees donate 91% to Dems. They’re working with Soros-backed VoteVets and labor unions. They want to stop veteran legislation which expands on Trump’s first-term VA reforms.

Sad truth @Patti48023586. The RI Dem machine callously exploits our most vulnerable communities to fuel a de facto NGO network. Everyday voters on both sides - including rank-and-file Dems - must pay the price. But @KenBlockRI and @LoughlinRI1 can dismantle it. Vote accordingly.

If only @SethMagaziner @Rep_Magaziner did his job on @HomelandDems instead of making our country more dangerous.
EXCLUSIVE: University Hockey Captain Killed in Wrong Way Collision With Twice-Deported Mexican Illegal in Sanctuary Connecticut A beloved member of the University of New Haven community was killed in a head-on collision with a driver who is in the U.S. illegally, federal authorities have confirmed with Border Hawk. The tragedy unfolded at around 11:45 p.m. on Oct. 16 in North Haven, Connecticut. Ryan O’Shea, 21, was driving southbound on Interstate 91 when a pickup truck traveling in the wrong direction slammed into his Honda Accord, causing his vehicle to strike two SUVs, Connecticut State Police (CSP) explained in an accident summary. O’Shea, who was on his way back to campus after playing in a hockey game, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the pickup truck, who suffered “serious life-threatening injuries,” was identified as 31-year-old Guillermo Carmona-Lopez, a resident of Bridgeport, Connecticut. “In May 2013, Border Patrol arrested Carmona-Lopez, a criminal illegal alien from Mexico, after he illegally entered the country. Carmona-Lopez was issued an expedited removal and was removed from the country,” the Department of Homeland Security told us. “He then illegally reentered the country near the Rio Grande Valley after being removed—a felony—and was once again arrested by Border Patrol in May 2013. Carmona-Lopez was issued a final order of removal on May 30, 2013. He then reentered the country at an unknown time and place.” It is currently unclear if Carmona-Lopez will face charges in connection with the crash. A resident of Stony Point, New York, O’Shea served as senior assistant captain of the university’s club hockey team and also chapter president of the Kappa Sigma fraternity. He was studying criminal justice with a concentration in police science and aspired to work for the New York Police Department. “Ryan was not only a great leader, but he was a caring friend to anyone around him. He always knew how to light up a room and make people laugh, no matter the time. Ryan’s leadership and the memories he has made will never be forgotten,” Kappa Sigma wrote in an Instagram post memorializing O’Shea. Ryan’s sisters said he “always found a way to make everything positive.” “He was always trying to go out of the way to help others and include them in new spaces if they didn’t know anyone,” Kiera O’Shea stated. Two memorial scholarships have been established in Ryan O’Shea’s name. Contributions can be made here. We contacted CSP to request more information on this investigation and Carmona-Lopez’s current condition and will provide updates if they become available.

I am demanding a response from the Board of Elections by tomorrow at the latest. There is no point in having campaign finance laws if they can be violated in the final week of an election without any repercussions.

Is the @RIDemParty able to have a nominee or state ‘leader’ that doesn’t lie? Must be following the @TheDemocrats lead. Where is the honesty and transparency? See @KenBlockRI ! .
This afternoon, I filed a second campaign finance complaint with the Rhode Island Board of Elections regarding illegal in-kind contributions from the Rhode Island Democratic State Committee to the Helena Foulkes campaign. The Foulkes campaign accepted $90,000 in "Digital Communications" from the Rhode Island Democratic State Committee, which is well over the $25,000 annual limit a party can spend on advertising for a candidate. The new total for illegal in-kind contributions across both complaints now exceeds $285,000. We await the Board of Elections' enforcement of Rhode Island's campaign finance laws, which restrict this type of advertising by political parties.

The Foulkes campaign should be held accountable for its illegal actions. That is why I filed my complaint.

This afternoon, I filed a complaint with the Rhode Island Board of Elections. The Foulkes campaign has violated campaign finance laws by receiving $195,000 in illegal in-kind contributions from the Rhode Island Democratic Party for print advertisements.

🚨🚨🚨Anne Arundel Public Schools’ parental preclusion policies have resulted in a civil lawsuit brought by @America1stLegal on behalf of two parents and now a lawsuit brought by @TheJusticeDept on behalf of the US. May be time for schools to rethink these policies. 🤔

VOTE NO ON ALL 5 BOND QUESTIONS As reported on @NBC10: House Minority Leader Michael Chippendale @MikeWChip opposes all five bond questions. “Borrowing our way out of a problem that we find ourselves in now is like paying credit card debt with more credit cards,” he said. While Question 1 asks for $275 million, estimated interest over the next 20 years would bring the total to more than $440 million. That would have to be paid off at around $1.60 for every dollar borrowed, eventually hitting taxpayers. “We cannot continue to borrow our way into prosperity,” said Chippendale. The other bond questions ask to borrow money for housing, economic development, cultural and environmental initiatives. turnto10.com/news/local/rhod…

Just follow the money. If you want to see which candidate is beholden to the special interests and political insiders who control Rhode Island, just read the campaign finance report that Helena Foulkes filed last night. In there, you'll find high-powered lobbyists, sitting members of the General Assembly, and over twenty donations from political action committees. Helena Foulkes will give you another four years of the status quo. She's already bought and sold. Numbers don't lie.

Union workers in Rhode Island suffer when their leaders endorse only Democrats. Union workers need a vibrant business and employer climate in order to thrive, so supporting only one side of the employee/employer partnership is shortsighted and counterproductive. Do better, labor.
Rhode Island, make your voice heard on November 3! 🗳️ @LIUNA and @IUPAT are proud to support candidates and ballot measures that invest in our communities, and create opportunities for our workforce. Check out our endorsements and make a plan to vote!
