The reason the EFF is floundering is that they never take stock or accept responsibility. Instead they insist on framing repeated failure as some kind of esoteric victory, because they operate on the cult mantra of “closing ranks” regardless of how badly things go.

The only sensible thing is for the DA to go into coalition with ActionSA and give Dr Moya the mayoralty. She’s earned it. Brink can be deputy mayor, just like Dr Moya was his deputy. If they work together sensibly, they can make important strides in developing the Capital City.
