Great people who continuously bow to mediocrity will become mediocre. Applies to all competent politicians who follow dynastic rulers.

It is imperative that financial, criminal & ethical screenings are done before ministerial appointments. Ministers have to be whiter than white & hold themselves to the highest moral and ethical standards. @palkisu @ShashiTharoor @ThePrintIndia @thewire_in @MahuaMoitra @htdelhi

Where citizens are not fearless Democracy cannot exist. Where citizens are fearless Democracy will flourish. Citizens Speak Question, Criticise, Hold to Account your elected reps. Expect nothing less than highest standards of service. @palkisu @URJADelhi @htdelhi @TOIDelhi

Replying to @eagle_mist
Agreed. This is a crying need. Political parties must be fully transparent to public in their funding with spending caps. Also a strict code of conduct for Ministers & Elected Reps Don't support candidates & parties who do not have this reform in Manifesto for early legislation.

Chennai municipal authorities are so efficient that they had cleaned most of the roads off broken trees and other debris after crazy cyclonic winds and rains swept the region. Delhi and other cities can learn plenty from Chennai and TN chief minister, Stalin.

Jaipur needs the urgent attention of its administrators. For a city which is among India’s most famous tourist hubs with such immense cultural heritage, its state of disrepair is deplorable. We can do better 🙏 @ashokgehlot51 @jdajaipur Ramcharan Bohara @SwachhBharatGov

There must be a publicly available statistic showing how many days a month were wasted by Indian central & state ministers incl PM and CMs on election campaigning. This report must be published in all national dailies by an independent NGO or Civil Society. @adrspeaks @URJADelhi
