Vintage scan archives, public libraries, eBay, manufacturing websites / social media. (Like a good letterpress printer is going to have lots of examples in their offered mediums) The Dieline has lots of content if you can put up with the site and dig forever.
I have found that the Pro reasoning in chatgpt can search quite hard and find great public design resources.
But overall with ai + design inspo, I’ve found that it’s great at locating unique sources, but terrible at identifying singular assets / inspo pieces. So I tend to use it to find a source like a public library db and then I manually go thru it and find stuff I like.
The great thing about this app, is it has a first class MCP interface and I can use ChatGPT to generate objects, 2d layouts, various edits, and more.
For this clock, I told ChatGPT to adjust the tick marks to go all that way to the edge like the inspo. Now it looks much better!
And the app keeps a living notes doc of major design decisions, preferences, and constraints that can easily be viewed and edited. So regressions should be less likely long term and personal styles can easily be inferred.
Just about functional enough that I can work on the actual UI.

传统的3D资产在AI眼中，就是个有贴图的“视觉资产”，NVIDIA想做的是，把“视觉资产”变成AI可以理解的“物理资产”！
所以，这批资产的价值可想而知！
至少能够用到这些场景上！
机器人抓取和搬运训练，先在虚拟环境里练习拿取、摆放物体；
搭建工厂、仓库的数字孪生，测试设备和物体的布局；
配合合成数据工具，改变光照、视角、遮挡和物体位置，生成带标注的训练数据。
大家都在卷文字、代码与图像生成时，NVIDIA 开始为Physical AI（物理 AI） 铺设地基了。
不过，对大部分人来说，也是一个相当全面的3D资产素材库！

Few asked. Yes, all our assets for @CashApp tags are AI generated.
That doesn’t mean it’s easy. Or one-shotted though.
We invest a ton in art direction, make each one a unique world, test way more concepts and even build characters based on our team’s likeness.
The fun part is we get to make much weirder stuff.
Ideas that would have been prohibitively expensive go live in weeks.
The new @jugendingenieur amp looks awesome and reasonably priced!

I’ve been thinking about this. I’m not sure how CarPlay would work. In my usage the phone doesn’t get any of the CarPlay UI. Maybe there’s a different mode as part of their new integrated CarPlay 2.0?
Maybe the phone goes into nightstand mode since it’s on MagSafe and horizontal?
Curious to learn more!
