How hard you move beats how long you move.
Good news for biohackers. Nobody is asking you to jog around the block for hours. The hard minutes are short ones.
Same total activity. Wildly different outcomes.
In 96,408 UK Biobank adults, the people who did just over 4 percent of their movement hard enough to get out of breath had 29 to 61 percent lower risk of eight major diseases and death.
For inflammatory diseases, intensity counted *twenty times* more than volume.
Your body counts effort, not minutes.
It is not permission to move less. It is a multiplier on the movement you already do.
In other words, if you can stay active all day, then a little structured sprint work will vastly outperform jogging around the block for hours.

The facemask rule doesn't require a literal grabbing of the facemask...
Pessimism can kill you. But that's not the full story.
Finland followed 2,267 adults for 11 years. The most pessimistic had 2.2 times the risk of dying from coronary heart disease as the least pessimistic.
But optimism did nothing. No protective effect at all.
Which means that the fix is not forced positivity.
It is dropping the expectation that everything will go wrong.

I actually think it looks more like the original. It's probably a little lighter but the lighting makes a difference for sure.
To the point where I was pretty sure it's literally the same blue (super common color there).

My Danish house is the same color scheme. I like it!

A bit north but I go down there sometimes. Wouldn't be anywhere else 😊
The whole area is so amazing for boating.
