An overall lower grade monsoon pattern this weekend with the best storm chances from Tucson south and eastward. Thereafter, a more favorable mid/upper level pattern and deep moisture will result in increased coverage starting Monday. #azwx

As of 432 pm, the airport has recorded 1.19" today. This pushes the July total to 6.98" which is the wettest July on record. The old record was 6.80" from 2017. Monsoon total stands at 7.15". Still raining. #azwx
