This is what I feel the world doesn’t understand. The Japanese people are extremely tenacious when they decide to be. It’s downright inspiring and frightening. I said this to my wife, never let other foreigners try to make the atomic bomb into an insult. America has NEVER used that kind of force on any other country in its history. Japan was such a force and opponent, America had to use its forbidden technique to even get Japan to surrender. Having the strongest country in the world take you serious isn’t an insult, it’s a compliment to your strength and power. I love studying Japanese history. Respect to this great nation and respect to the friends and family I’ve made in Japan. I know many others feel the same.

日本人は礼儀正しい相手には礼儀と親切で接するけど、攻撃してくる相手には容赦ない。
そして粘り強くて信念を曲げない。
アフリカ系の人たちは特に日本の歴史をあまり知らないと思うけど、戦力差が2倍ぐらいあったロシアに戦争で粘り勝ってしまったし、戦力差4〜5倍あった清国（今の中国）にも勝ってしまった。
同じく数倍の戦力差があったアメリカには粘りまくって最後民間人ごと虐殺されるまで止まらなかった。
特に硫黄島の戦いでは、戦力差10倍近いアメリカ軍が5日で攻略する予定だった戦いなのに1ヶ月以上粘って、米軍の戦死傷者が日本軍を上回った。
日本人は相手の方が強いと感じてもとことん相手を調べて弱点ついていくし、勝つまでしつこいし、最終的には飛行機や潜水艦ごと爆弾抱えて相手に突っ込んでいったりもする。こんな民族世界で他に聞いたことがない。
私も敵には回したくない。
日本人に安易にケンカを売る外国人はちょっと歴史を調べてみるとよいし、日本人は自信を持った方がよい。
