Former Assistant Anoka County Attorney Andrea Leigh Sampson, 35, has been arrested and charged with 26 felony counts for her alleged role in a major Twin Cities sex trafficking and prostitution ring. The charges against her include 13 counts of promoting prostitution and 13 counts of receiving profits from prostitution. Sampson is accused of securing and providing specific locations where commercial sex transactions occurred. She allegedly used her properties to take photographs of victims for commercial sex ads and created multiple LLC shell companies to hide the operation's profits. Law enforcement identified at least 13 victims. Victims reported being forced to pay the organization $100 per transaction. Some victims noted that an armed male would show up to keep them "in line" when management was displeased. Sampson is charged alongside three others, including Frank Reeves, 57, and Viktoriya Komonash, 30. Phone records revealed that Sampson and the other female suspects all believed they were in a romantic relationship with Reeves. Investigators also discovered the group was running assisted living and autism facilities to collect additional revenue.
