This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. The Municipality of Jasper has issued a Wildfire alert.
This alert is in effect for everyone located in Jasper.
There is a wildfire south of town. An Evacuation Order has been issued for the Town of Jasper.
Everyone in Jasper must evacuate now. Use Highway 16 towards British Columbia. Follow directions from local authorities. Bring identification, important documents, medication, pets and your emergency kit with you. We will publish more information about assembly points soon. Check the Municipality of Jasper and Jasper National Park's Facebook page and website for more information.

I know we’re all saying it but it’s absolutely disgusting that the Flames org publicized Dube being out for mental health reasons. It’s a slap in the face to any player who has actually has taken leave for mental health. And an even bigger slap to players who have not done so for fear of making public their mental health struggles.
It’s hard for ANYONE to accept they need help in this area, let alone a professional athlete in an atmosphere that rewards toughness and masculinity. Dube just made a mockery of anyone truly struggling. Using mental health as a shield to avoid public scrutiny and even GARNER SYMPATHY while facing assault charges is the lowest thing I’ve ever seen. I’m livid.
