Scripting is live in Rive. ✨
This is the creative freedom Flash gave designers and developers working together — rebuilt for modern platforms, without the plugin. And because Rive’s runtime and format are open-source, it's not going anywhere.

Look man i "get it", I "get" the idea of coasters, I'm not a fucking moron, you don't want to damage your nice table you spent a lot of money on. I'm just saying, what is the table in the first place if not a coaster for the floor. I'm just saying, where does it end

That one of the great tragedies of life is the paradox of wisdom and age. As you become wiser about life and the world, you have less time to apply it yourself. So you try to pass it down, but some things just can't be heard in youth. It only comes through the experience of living. And then the cycle repeats: you remember that someone tried to give you some gems and you didn't listen, so you try to do the same. It's a somewhat cruel time loop of sorts, and I ponder over the design sometimes.

just the latest in a series of brutal reputational hits for the T-Rex. when I was a kid this dinosaur was King Shit, now every 5 years someone's like "actually he didn't even hunt, he was covered in feathers, he was three low-quality dinos in a trench coat"
Researchers say the Tyrannosaurus Rex may have actually been three separate dinosaurs. bit.ly/4c3ZQkC
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Misleading headline: Research points to Tyrannosaurus-"Rex" specimens diverging into three Tyrannosaurus species, not different dinosaurs.
The headline leads people to believe each skeleton is made of three distinct dinosaurs when every specimen is of a Tyrannosaurus species
