UPDATE: The ViaSat-3 Americas satellite has been lowering its orbit in recent days. After a quick stop in an orbit ~100 km above GEO, the satellite is now in an orbit ~50 km above GEO and currently at ~170° West. This is about 75% on the way to the ViaSat-3 APAC orbital slot.

The FCC issued a letter Friday confirming DISH met its 2023 buildout commitments, extending its AWS-4/S-band buildout obligations to 2025 (among other bands). Seems like this will make it difficult for the FCC to move forward on SpaceX's S-band application. Letter here: bit.ly/3PUJhyh
