🙏 @ISNkidneycare and @UKKidney for arranging and promoting this ‘results reveal’ meeting for the @PrepareKC dialysis vs CKM study. Hopefully with simultaneous journal publication. @BrsTrialsCentre @BristolNHSFT @NIHRresearch @BarnyHole @jardine_meg @FionaCLoud @JaneSchell11
For the first time, we have randomized trial evidence comparing preparation for dialysis with conservative kidney management in older people approaching kidney failure. On November 5, the first results of the Prepare for Kidney Care randomized controlled trial will be presented in an ISN webinar. 445 participants. 31 UK kidney units. An average 4.5 years of follow-up. This is one to put in your calendar. Register now: bit.ly/4yvfvEn @fjcaskey @FionaCLoud @BarnyHole @jardine_meg
