People are now starting to understand that LED bulbs have been designed to be as energy efficient as possible. And so they eliminated the infrared portion, which is invisible, and this makes sense from a purely economic viewpoint if the purpose of the bulb is simply to allow you to see. However, people live in these environments for more than 90% of their lives, and what has happened is almost complete elimination of the beneficial but invisible longer wavelengths.
