This is a good take- Congress has the power of the purse and should use it.
If you want to restrict ICE, restrict ICE. But if you think your best tool to limit ICE is (checks notes) hamstringing building projects of all kind, including the transmission lines that clean energy depends on, then I don't even know what to tell you.

Probably the best take I’ve seen so far on the disaster in Michigan. What Steven’s did is terrible, but this also could have been prevented.
1. Haley Stevens has liquidated any good will she ever had, a complete embarrassment. 2. If AES had better instincts this would not have happened. 3. Wild that this last-minute fracture might have been avoided if not for CENK UYGUR???

This is honestly a hilarious ad. Reminds me slightly of demon sheep ad back in the day

Happy Pythagorean Theorem Day!
tomorrow is the last ever Pythagorean theorem day that we will ever get to experience. There’s only ever been 12 of them ever in our lifetime. And they will never be one ever again. How fun!🙂

Wild night for Election Twitter
We were investigating Wedgewood for faking their data and emailed them for comment this morning, ahead of publishing the findings tomorrow. They are trying to cover up their fraud with the "we were doing a social experiment" excuse. Full story here: blog.fiftyplusone.news/p/fif…

This November, there is a lot of CA ballot measures- here are my personal recommendations (1/16):
1
178
Prop 44: Another year, another terrible arm twisting measure to vote NO on. If adopted, would likely cripple several healthcare providers. Labor disputes should not be resolved via statewide propositions! (15/15)

Prop 45: NO to a bold but ultimately flawed proposal to reform CEQA. This could have been a good measure, but as is it would seriously undermine State greenhouse gas reduction strategies and possibly public health. It hurts to say no to this one… (16/16, end)
