Oakland, CA. I would recommend that folks , check out downtown Oakland 's "Book Mark" relocated in a nice space on Broadway. across from Marriott in Chinatown. Very nice diverse selection of books, music etc. I buy many books online, but there is no substitute for a brick and mortar bookstore, to buy and browse. I much prefer to spend $$ in the city in which I reside, at every opportunity.
