You have been a favourite account on here. Hope to find you elsewhere. And of course commiserations from afar.

No, no, you use cups of uncertain origin for the rice but fingers for the water level. Wanna step outside so we can settle this properly?

Exactly. That's what made me wonder if I ended up in some parallel universe. But you can totally imagine some New Age pseudoscience featuring ephemeri. Not your meemaw's ephemera.

Tangential tale. I once switched on the car radio in the middle of some panel discussion on a subject that took me a while to parse. It seemed to involve the brain, human perception, and a word form I hadn't heard before: "ephemeri" (weird plural of ephemeral artefacts). Reparse.

I think we finally found the missing link between Sauron and Tron.
Googled out of curiosity, and there I find you writing about this oddity on Sql Server Central a few years ago.
Funny thing, Kenneth, I was just having an "I know you from the forum" moment. Had occasion to spend a bit of time with ScriptDom, and I found this ambiguous thing that seemed to suggest it models the ability to update a column and a variable in one go...

Mishearing things, deffo. Why, just this very day in a meeting I thought someone was referring to an unknown cultural entity called Kinky Newt. Took me until much later into the sentence to reparse and realise it's King Canute.
