If you use GitHub (especially if you pay for it!!) consider doing this *immediately*
Settings -> Privacy -> Disallow GitHub to train their models on your code.
GitHub opted *everyone* into training. No matter if you pay for the service (like I do). WTH

Claude 4 just refactored my entire codebase in one call.
25 tool invocations. 3,000+ new lines. 12 brand new files.
It modularized everything. Broke up monoliths. Cleaned up spaghetti.
None of it worked.
But boy was it beautiful.

I have worked with pretty much every major AI model/provider. They all have strengths, but man do they have some weird issues too.
I've been keeping a list. Decided to share because why not? Here's everything I hate about Gemini, Claude, ChatGPT and Mistral.

Plz stop making agent demos planning trips or booking flights, how many flights are you even taking??? Make them do repetitive stuff no one wants to do instead

I have noticed more excitement about AI tools from technical generalists filling in knowledge gaps vs hyper-specialists that don't feel the tools are good enough to help them much within their zone of expertise.

It is odd that there’s so much excitement and chatter about "agentic" setups and so little about just managing workflows predictably with LLMs + structured output / tool calls. I'm convinced that in 90% it’s the latter that actually delivers effective results in production.

GPT-4o got an another update in ChatGPT!
What's different?
- Better at following detailed instructions, especially prompts containing multiple requests
- Improved capability to tackle complex technical and coding problems
- Improved intuition and creativity
- Fewer emojis 🙃

Why did I copy and paste my password from 1Password into a website without letting the browser extension automatically populate it? Because time and time again - like right now - orgs use totally different domains that don't match the one you registered on.
