A resident lady doctor from West Bengal, was pursuing postgraduation in Pathology at KGMU, Lucknow.
Dr. Rameez Malik enjoyed with her but told her to F..off.
She alleged that Dr. Rameezuddin Nayak (Dr. Rameez Malik) sexually exploited her under the pretext of marriage, forced her to undergo an abortion, and pressured her to convert to Islam.
Distressed by the resulting mental harassment, the victim attempted suicide by taking an overdose on December 17, 2025.

Following the emergence of this case, an investigation report by the Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF) (dated October 2026) revealed the existence of an active network within various departments of KGMU that allegedly targeted Hindu female doctors and staff.
The STF report mentions several Muslim doctors and faculty members from the Pathology, Microbiology, and Radiology departments—including Prof. Suresh Babu, Dr. Sumaira Qayyum, Shafat Ali Khan, and Dr. Rizwan who are involved.
It is alleged that when the female doctors resisted, they were threatened with the destruction of their careers or subjected to attempts to have them declared mentally unstable.
Subsequently, the primary accused, Dr. Rameez, and his parents were arrested; KGMU suspended him and expelled him from the institution.
The investigation report also references alleged incidents involving Nafees, Mustafa, and a resident doctor named Adil.
The STF report also mentions a group called 'Islamic Medicos.' The investigative agency claims that a network was active among certain former and current medical students associated with SNMC Agra and KGMU.

Waheeda Rehman and Guru Dutt were deeply in love, and everyone expected them to marry. However, Waheeda Rehman—who was a devout Konkani-Malabari Muslim—set a condition: she would not convert to Hinduism, and if Guru Dutt truly loved her, he would have to embrace Islam. Guru Dutt refused to accept this condition, and one day, he took his own life by consuming an excessive number of sleeping pills.
Later, Waheeda married Kamaljeet, a Punjabi actor and businessman; she ensured that he converted to Islam at a mosque in Bangalore. Her two children, Sohail Rehman and Kashvi Rehman, are also Muslims.
A similar situation occurred with Dev Anand. Suraiya was a Muslim, and both she and her grandmother pressured Dev Anand to convert to Islam. When he refused, Suraiya’s grandmother took the diamond ring that Dev Anand had given her—which she was wearing on her finger—and threw it into the sea.
One wonders when Hindu women will learn from such examples.
