Multi-bagger stocks don't just go up. They also have sharp declines and long periods of stagnation as fundamentals backfill, old shareholders get bored, and new shareholders enter. Being able to hold through this cycle is the most difficult challenge an investor will face.
I have this mate whose trading strategy is simply to buy large cap stocks that have been belted down into oblivion ($CSL most recent example) load up on what appears to be the first sign of recovery and hold for it to recover. How well do you think he does?
