Ryan Downey’s Battle With Glioblastoma My name is Ryan Downey. I was 42 years old when my life changed forever after being diagnosed with Stage 4 glioblastoma. My journey began in December 2025 when I started experiencing pain and a tingling sensation in my right arm. On December 29, 2025, I woke up with numbness in my right arm and leg, and I was slurring my words. My wife, Lacey, and I knew something was seriously wrong, so we went to the hospital. My worst fear was that I was having a stroke. After spending several days in the hospital, doctors discovered a mass on my brain that appeared to be cancerous. On January 2, 2026, I underwent a craniotomy on the left side of my brain. The tumor was a very large mass, and thankfully, the doctors were able to remove the full visible tumor. However, they discovered tentacles extending from the tumor that were intertwined throughout my brain. Those could not be removed without causing further damage. The tumor had been pressing against the area of my brain responsible for speech, which explained my difficulty speaking, and it was also affecting the right side of my body, including my right arm and leg. On January 6, 2026, I received the diagnosis that would change my life forever: Stage 4 glioblastoma. Glioblastoma is considered a terminal illness, and knowing that has been one of the hardest things I have ever had to face. After leaving Tampa General Hospital following my surgery, I was transferred to Largo Medical Center, where I spent 10 days undergoing intensive physical and speech therapy. After I was released, I went home and began approximately six weeks of chemotherapy and radiation. Eventually, I was cleared to ring the cancer bell. That moment was incredibly emotional for me. I had made it through my first round of treatment, and I was hopeful that I could finally begin moving forward. Unfortunately, my battle was far from over. Not long after ringing that bell and returning home, I began experiencing severe complications from my surgery and treatment. It became increasingly difficult, and eventually almost impossible, to use the right side of my body. I developed severe edema in my lower extremities, as well as swelling in my brain. I have been on significant amounts of steroids to try to control the swelling, which has caused its own painful side effects. I continue to experience intense pressure and pain in my head, along with tingling and weakness throughout the right side of my body. In May, I was told that doctors had found another concerning spot in the area where my original tumor had been removed. On May 27, 2026, I underwent a procedure called LITT therapy, or Laser Interstitial Thermal Therapy. It is a laser procedure used to target and destroy abnormal tissue in the brain. Doctors used the laser to treat the area they believed could be another growth. After that surgery, I returned to Largo Medical Center for more physical and speech therapy. Unfortunately, because of the severity of my condition, the therapy did not produce the results we had hoped for, and I was eventually sent home. Since then, I have been dealing with extreme exhaustion, brain swelling, difficulty eating, and severe pain. I have been in and out of the hospital multiple times because of the pain and swelling in my brain. I am currently home again, but my fight continues. I have started radiation for a second time and am also receiving chemotherapy with Avastin, which is being used in hopes of helping control the swelling. I am paying close to $1,000 every month just to maintain my health insurance premium. We have been forced to liquidate most of our assets to try to keep up with medical bills, medications, equipment, transportation, and the many other expenses that come with a terminal illness.

It doesn’t matter whether you vote Republican or Democrat; they’re all the same. Why can’t you people understand this?
This is why you don’t sit out elections. The caravan is coming. Vote Red like your life depends on it.

My wife, Lacey, is working full-time overnight just to help keep up with our bills. When she comes home during the day, she takes care of me and makes sure I have everything I need. She is constantly driving me to medical appointments, treatments, hospitals, and therapy. She has become my caregiver, my support system, and my biggest source of strength, all while trying to keep our household financially stable. My family has also tried to help where they can. But all of them live out of state, and the cost and distance make it extremely difficult. Here in Florida, Lacey and I are largely on our own. I started a GoFundMe in February to share my story and humbly ask for help. Asking for financial assistance is not something that comes naturally to me. I have always been the person who wants to work, provide, and handle my own problems. Having to ask others for help has been incredibly difficult, and honestly, it has forced me to swallow my pride. But I have reached a point where I know I cannot do this alone anymore. I have been denied Social Security disability three times. I receive a small amount of assistance for food, but that does not cover the many other expenses that come with my condition. Medical equipment, treatments, insurance premiums, medications, transportation, and other necessary expenses continue to add up. I celebrated my 43rd birthday on July 1, 2026. As grateful as I am to have reached another birthday, I also have to be honest with myself: I don't know if it will be my last. One of the things that weighs most heavily on my heart is my wife, Lacey. If I am no longer here, I want to know that she will be okay. We have had to liquidate so many of our assets just to survive, and I worry about what will happen to her after I am gone. At the same time, I worry about what will happen if I am still here and we can no longer afford the insurance premium that allows me to receive the treatment I need. I don't know what the future holds. I don't know how much time I have left. What I do know is that I want to keep fighting for as long as I possibly can, and I want to make sure Lacey is taken care of. So, I am asking for help. Period. If you are able to donate, share my story, or simply keep me and my family in your prayers, it means more to me than I could ever put into words. I never imagined that at 43 years old I would have to ask for help just to fight for my life. But this is where I am, and I am choosing to be honest about what we are facing. Thank you to everyone who has supported me, prayed for me, encouraged me, donated, shared my story, or simply checked in. Every act of kindness has meant something to me and to Lacey. I am still here. I am still fighting. And right now, I am humbly asking you to help me keep fighting.

It saved my life. I have stage four cancer. Glioblastoma (GBM) is highly aggressive. I just finished up my radiation and chemo. The doctors were impressed by Grox AI. It’s a capability underlying the root causes of major issues.

I recently had brain surgery. At Tampa General Hospital, I had a good team of surgeons. 100% is taken out. I feel really blessed, lucky. I just spent 14 days at a rehab speech therapy, and I was able to walk out of there. Seven days ago, I couldn't walk or speak. When I saw it, this article. I cried with joy. I have a team of doctors. I’m meeting on the 28th. They want to start me on chemotherapy and radiation. I have never trusted Big Pharma. This changes everything.
Mel Gibson isn't lying… A recent study documented COMPLETE REMISSION of Stage IV cancers using fenbendazole. Patients with advanced melanoma, breast, and prostate cancer saw their tumors disappear — without chemotherapy. Clinical trials must be launched immediately.

Yes, it's real. The DOJ released Epstein files on Dec 19, 2025, with some redactions done poorly—black bars over text without removing the underlying data, allowing copy-paste to reveal it. This is confirmed on Reddit, TikTok, and Threads. It's gaining attention on social media, but mainstream outlets are focusing more on the release itself than this flaw.

Be aware of crypto scams.
🚨 CRYPTO SCAMS EXPLODE INSIDE CIRCLE K STORES - VICTIMS SAY LIFE SAVINGS VANISHED AT BITCOIN ATMS A CNN investigation just exposed what employees describe as an “open secret” inside Circle K locations nationwide. Customers are targeted by scammers and walked step-by-step to crypto ATMs inside the stores, often while being told on the phone not to hang up. You can hear the officer pleading with one potential victim: "He's scamming you out of your money. So we're trying to prevent that and stop you from doing it. He's gonna take your life savings from you. Don't let him do that." CNN and the ICIJ reviewed 150+ scam cases tied to crypto ATMs operating inside Circle K stores. The machines are owned by Bitcoin Depot, the largest crypto ATM operator in the U.S. Circle K is its largest corporate partner. Employees say management knew. The machines stayed. And the deal was renewed anyway. Once the cash goes in, it’s gone. How is this even allowed?
