Art of the Deal is buying fertilizer from a Putin-aligned repressive dictator and paying to ship it 6,000 miles from his landlocked and sanctioned country so you can teach Canada a lesson.

It is remarkable that the only leaders he likes are dictators
Cutting Canada out of US trade to embrace nightmare dictatorships like Belarus. Absolute madness.

We all need to wake up to the existence of a new right wing alliance, clearly called for in the US National Security Strategy issued in December 2025, which will include the German AFD, the Rassemblement National in France, Nigel Farage’s party and those even further to the right in the UK. Their political advance will be led, supported, fuelled and financed by Trump, the TechBros, Putin, and whatever other sources can be found around the world. They are actively interfering in the Alberta referendum, and will fund whatever racist and separatist groups they can find around the world. Failure to understand this, and to fight it, will put our own democratic lives at risk.
This is very clear: The AFD supports the Russian slaughter of Ukrainian civilians, and will favor the slaughter and conquest of other Europeans too. No one can say they didn't know, or were not warned.

Breaking News: The 10-year Treasury yield, one of the world’s most important interest rates, breached 5% for the first time in years, capping a long stretch of turmoil in the bond market that has pushed up borrowing costs for companies and consumers. nyti.ms/3UPIvaY

Not only did a Russian oligarch pay for Donald Trump Jr's wedding, he married the daughter of Jeffrey Epstein's former banker

Don Jr’s Bahamas wedding was secretly bankrolled by a Russian oligarch tied to Putin. This is unprecedented corruption that’s also a major national security risk. I don’t want to hear another frickin word about Hunter Biden ever again.

How about calling on Putin to stop killing Ukrainian civilians
Trump: "Zelenskyy has to do one thing -- he has to stop knocking out diesel fuel in Russia. He's causing a shortage of diesel fuel. This isn't done by the Middle East, this is done by what's happening with Russia and Ukraine."

Probably the most important read of the day, if not the year. Will Open AI and others follow suit? Given Amodei split from Sam Altman over safety concerns, don’t hold your breath….
We Must Pace the Frontier: I’ve written a new essay on why the AI industry should slow down, with a three-part plan for doing so. Anthropic is unilaterally committing to the first of these steps. We’ll provide third-party evaluators with permanent, employee-level access to our systems, so that they can verify adherence to our safety measures, report on incidents, and assess models’ alignment during training. Never mistake $462 million a day for weakness. $83.6 billion in 6 months. Energy. Metals. Fertilizer. Minerals. Oil that keeps the Midwest running. Potash that grows American food. Aluminum, copper, uranium. That is the border that matters. Whiskey and cheese are a sideshow. This is the alliance. We bow to no one.

Bribing voters is not a controversial idea, according to the vice president. That's how debased US politics has become.
Baier: $5000 for every adult citizen, that's about $1.3 trillion. The critics will say the president is bribing voters and he's bankrupting the country. Vance: Tariffs have generated a lot of revenues. The president is saying, if you keep us in power, then you will share in some of the benefit of this incredible wealth that we are creating
