FTSE Russell officially confirmed that Vietnam’s reclassification from a Frontier Market to a Secondary Emerging Market status will take effect on September 21, 2026. Twenty seven Vietnamese stocks will be passively added by exchange-traded funds (such as the Fubon FTSE Vietnam ETF and the VanEck Vietnam ETF).
Moody's have upgraded Vietnam's sovereign credit outlook from Stable to Positive. And affirmed Vietnam overall long-term issuer rating at Ba2. The agency cited strong institutional reforms, accelerating digitalization, robust FDI inflows, and improved macroeconomic stability as the core drivers behind the positive outlook.
The World Bank and global asset managers project that the FTSE upgrade alone will unlock $3 billion to $5 billion in immediate passive portfolio inflows, potentially expanding to $25 billion by 2030 as the country positions itself as a dominant supply chain alternative in Southeast Asia.

🚨 SOMETHING IS SERIOUSLY OFF ABOUT GOOGLE'S QUANTUM WARNING.
Just seven months after warning that quantum computers could threaten Bitcoin's security, Google is entering the crypto custody security business.
In March, Google published research suggesting that future quantum computers could break Bitcoin's cryptography much sooner than previously expected.
Its researchers estimated that certain Bitcoin private keys could potentially be cracked in minutes using far less computing power than earlier estimates suggested.
The research raised serious concerns about Bitcoin's long term security and the possibility of quantum attacks arriving sooner than expected.
Now, Google has announced a new security service for banks and financial institutions to protect private keys and secure transactions involving Bitcoin and tokenized assets.
The service is expected to launch commercially in 2027, with potential support for quantum-resistant security in the future.
And Google is already one of the world's leading companies in quantum computing.
So the same company warning the crypto industry about quantum threats is now positioning itself to make money from securing institutional crypto assets.
Did Google's quantum research unintentionally create demand for its new business or it was intended?

We are in a "stealth" bear market.
Read our analysis below.
Before you rush to buy a stock that's down 15-20% after earnings, understand one important rule: The 3-Day Rule!
What is the 3-Day Rule, and why does it matter? Let me explain.
When a stock gaps down sharply after earnings or bad news, wait at least 3 trading days before considering buying.
Why? Large institutions managing millions of shares may need several sessions to reduce their positions. The initial gap down might be just the beginning of the selling pressure.
Day 1: An initial bounce could be driven by short covering and aggressive dip buyers rather than sustained institutional demand.
Days 2 and 3: Selling pressure may continue, and the stock could make new lows as investors reassess the news.
After Day 3: Look for signs that selling pressure is fading and price is beginning to stabilize.
Before buying, check:
- Selling volume is shrinking
- Price is holding above the recent low
- You understand why the stock dropped
- The fundamental thesis remains intact
Remember, three days don't guarantee a bottom. Some stocks need several weeks or even months to build a proper base before beginning another sustained uptrend.
If the business is fundamentally broken, the stock isn't necessarily on sale. It may simply be getting repriced.
The market doesn't reward you for catching the exact bottom. Let the selling pressure fade, let the stock build a base, and let the trend confirm itself.
Missing the bottom is far better than getting caught in a downtrend

🇻🇳 🚨 VIETNAM: THREAT ACTOR CLAIMS LEAK OF 2M+ OCEAN EDU STUDENT RECORDS
A threat actor on an underground hacker forum has published what they say is the student database of Ocean Edu (ocean[.]edu[.]vn), a large English-language training chain in Vietnam.
What the actor claims to have leaked:
* More than 2 million student records, over 4 GB in total
* Full names, emails, phone numbers, home addresses and birth dates
* National ID numbers and academic records
* Hashed online and MS Teams passwords
* More than 80,000 student photos
The sample fields shared by the actor point to an export from an internal student management system.
⚠️ Analyst Note:
If real, the mix of ID numbers, birth dates and contact details puts students and their families at high risk of identity fraud and convincing phishing calls or messages posing as the school. Exposed password hashes could also fuel credential-stuffing attacks on other accounts. Students and parents should change reused passwords and treat unexpected requests for codes, fees or personal details as fraud. Ocean Edu has not confirmed an incident that we are aware of. Unverified threat-actor claim, NOT confirmation of a breach.

I think we've been looking at Strategy $MSTR through the wrong lens.
Over the past few weeks, I've been quite critical of several decisions made by Strategy.
The $STRC buybacks, the massive USD reserves, the reluctance to increase dividend rates, and even some of the communication surrounding these decisions.
And I know I'm not alone.
But after listening to @CJ_Bitcoin from Strategy and @ColeMacro from Strive $ASST on @chasepalmieri's podcast, I've started questioning whether we've been using the right framework to evaluate Strategy in the first place.
Strategy and Strive are playing two very different games.
Strive is optimizing for aggressive Bitcoin accumulation, amplification, and ultimately maximizing total returns for its common shareholders.
At its current scale, Strive can grow substantially by attracting retail and high-net-worth investors who understand Bitcoin, are comfortable underwriting its risks, and are willing to accept higher yields on Digital Credit.
Strategy, on the other hand, is increasingly positioning itself to attract institutional capital at an entirely different scale.
We're talking pension funds, insurance companies, banks, and other institutions capable of deploying billions of dollars.
And here's where things get interesting.
These investors don't think like us Bitcoiners.
They don't necessarily want the highest possible yield. They want liquidity, predictability, credit protection, stability, and confidence in the issuer.
Suddenly, some of Strategy's decisions start making a lot more sense.
→ The USD reserves: Not simply idle capital that could have been deployed into Bitcoin, but an important source of confidence for investors underwriting credit risk.
→ The STRC buybacks: Not necessarily a mechanism to drive immediate price appreciation, but potentially a way to demonstrate support for the instrument and strengthen confidence in its ability to trade near par.
→ The dividend policy: Raising yields might attract another few billion from yield-sensitive investors, but it could also send the wrong signal to institutions that associate unusually high yields with distress.
→ The communication: Increasingly focused on balance sheet resilience, risk management, and institutional credibility rather than the aggressive upside narrative many retail investors want to hear.
Matt Cole made a particularly interesting point.
Even if Strategy raised its dividend rates by 200 basis points and attracted another $3–5 billion, that wouldn't fundamentally change the equation for a company of its size.
Strategy needs to figure out how to attract the next $25 billion, $50 billion, and eventually much more.
That's a completely different challenge.
Does this mean Strategy has made all the right decisions? Absolutely not. Even CJ acknowledged that the way the USD reserve was managed created problems.
And understanding the rationale behind a decision doesn't automatically make it the right one.
But perhaps we've been making a mistake by evaluating both companies against the same objectives.
We've been asking why Strategy isn't behaving more like Strive, when we should be asking whether Strategy is successfully building the infrastructure needed to bring institutional capital into Bitcoin at scale.
Strive is trying to maximize the opportunity available at its current scale. Strategy is trying to dramatically expand the scale of the opportunity itself.
And ultimately, both approaches could be enormously beneficial for Bitcoin and the entire Bitcoin Treasury industry.
The more I think about it, the more I believe we need to rethink how we evaluate these companies.
Because if they're pursuing different objectives, targeting different pools of capital, and operating at fundamentally different scales, shouldn't we also be measuring their success differently?
Different investors. Different scales. Different strategies. Different measures of success.
Strive doesn't want to be the next @Strategy.
I sat down with @ColeMacro, CEO of @Strive, for a candid conversation about bitcoin amplification, $ASST vs. $MSTR, $SATA vs. $SATS vs. $STRC , digital credit yields, dividend innovation, and Strive's aggressive approach to maximizing total returns.
I learned a ton, and one thing became clear: Strive and Strategy are on very different paths.

😂 Elon invested a billion dollars into Skydance (Parent company to CNN and CBS) and four days later they are being told to come to work or quit.
SKYDANCE'S FIRST BIG MEMO: TAKE THE BUYOUT, OR COME IN 5 DAYS A WEEK
Similar to Microsoft earlier today, except this one comes with a Return to Office mandate (other silent layoff that doesn't always show up in headlines).
From co-CEOs David Ellison and Ynon Kreiz:
"we recognize that not everyone will see their future here" Those who qualify get "personalized details and terms" and "a window to decide whether to accept this one-time offer."
The target: more than $6B in annual cost savings.
As @Amanda_Goodall notes, huge layoffs are expected to be part of it.

2. Pack SCOTUS;
3. Go after Elon, SpaceX, and Tesla--then billionaires, then millionaires;
4. Crush free speech;
5. Make voter ID illegal;
6. Flood the country with illegals.
It sounds insane. It *is* insane.
