seeing discourse about why charli is “allowed” to sexualize herself vs some other women and idk maybe it has to do with intent and their audience? charli is confident, period, which can manifest in wearing a sheer dress or licking up her spit from the floor. she doesn’t do anything to appease a straight male audience who not so secretly hates women. she’s not doing sports betting ads or partaking in conservative dog whistles. she just performed in a gay club at a PrEP awareness event and donated a portion of her ticket sales to the transgender law center.

no that isn’t the actual problem. the difference is that jennifer lawrence in this case is free to choose her outfit. in the case of muslim women there is (in general not for each) much more systemic force involved. just bc they may legally have the choice doesnt mean its free.

Eh it's ruined videos like that in general. Every time you see a video or something your brain has to do the "is it AI checks", even if subconciously.
