End the 2-Year Internship Trap: We demand a standardized 1-year internship. Extending our training retrospectively is an unfair delay to our careers and our service to the nation.

Doctors (FMGs)who studied during the pandemic adapted to unprecedented circumstances.
They followed @NMC_BHARAT policies ,compensated for online mode of education, did final year offline and cleared FMGE.
Rewriting policies after the fact undermines fairness and trust in the system.
@official_aimsa demands fair and consistent policies for foreign medical graduates across the nation.

In COVID, lacks of Indian students studying abroad were forced into online classes by a global pandemic. Now, years later, the NMC wakes up and demands onsite compensation. Universities shifted online because the world shut down.

A Heartfelt Appeal🙏: MBBS Student Missing in Russia
Ajit Singh, an MBBS student from Alwar, Rajasthan, studying at BASHKIR STATE MEDICAL UNIVERSITY in Ufa, Russia, has been missing for the past three days. His family is devastated. The university has informed his parents that they are “trying to find him,” but there has been no concrete update or progress so far.
Some of Ajit’s friends have mentioned that he was struggling with academic pressure and personal issues. Shockingly, his clothes and phone were found near a river, raising serious concerns about his safety and well-being.
His parents are left in anguish, asking:
• What has happened to our son?
• Why is it taking so long to find one person?
• Are the Russian authorities even taking this matter seriously?
• Has the university officially in touch with the family?
So many questions. No answers.
Only promises that “we are trying.”
Is sending our children abroad no longer safe? How can parents trust universities with the safety and mental well-being of their children?
We urge everyone to share this post widely. Let the world know. Let the authorities feel the urgency. Let Ajit’s family know they are not alone. @IndEmbMoscow @MEAIndia @DrSJaishankar

In the same state, Foreign Medical Graduates (FMGs)qualified doctors are working tirelessly during their internships, often clocking long hours in hospitals, yet receiving no stipend at all.
This is not just unfair,it’s demoralizing.
FMGs contribute equally to patient care, emergency duties, and ward responsibilities.
We respectfully urge you to ensure that Delhi FMGs are paid a fair stipend, just like their peers.
Equal work must mean equal dignity.

.@NbeIndia conducts both FMGE and NEET PG.
Every time,FMGs face the same challenges many score well in GTs and recall sessions, yet receive unexpectedly low marks in the actual exam.
This time, even NEET PG candidates are raising similar concerns.
There must be transparency in the evaluation process to ensure fairness and trust. #neetpg2025 #fmgejune2025

I’m deeply disturbed by the apathy shown by the @ncbn led government towards hundreds of Foreign Medical Graduates (FMGs) who are being denied their rightful permanent medical registration despite completing their mandatory internships under @NMC_IND guidelines.
These are young, qualified doctors who returned to serve their state after pursuing medical education abroad.
Worse, when these doctors peacefully protested on National Doctors’ Day demanding justice, the government responded with detentions, lathi charges, and intimidation. Is this how we treat our own medical professionals?
Why is the Andhra Pradesh Medical Council still not issuing PRs despite NMC clarifications?
Why are qualified doctors being left in limbo while the state battles a shortage of medical staff?
This is not just negligence, it’s systemic suppression of aspiring healthcare workers who deserve dignity and a future. I demand the state govt to immediately release permanent registrations, stop this exploitation, and allow these doctors to begin their careers legally and proudly.
The FMGE community strongly condemns the baseless claim that it takes 4–5 years for FMGs to crack NEET-PG.
Such remarks are derogatory, misleading, and promote discrimination.
We demand informed, respectful dialogue.
