Doctors (FMGs)who studied during the pandemic adapted to unprecedented circumstances. They followed @NMC_BHARAT policies ,compensated for online mode of education, did final year offline and cleared FMGE. Rewriting policies after the fact undermines fairness and trust in the system. @official_aimsa demands fair and consistent policies for foreign medical graduates across the nation. @MoHFW_INDIA @JPNadda ji @mpprataprao @AnupriyaSPatel ji @aimsa_fmsw @nmc @official_afa_ @NMC_BHARAT @NMC_IND #FairRulesForFMGs #withdraw_nmc_notice #MedicalProfession

A Heartfelt Appeal🙏: MBBS Student Missing in Russia Ajit Singh, an MBBS student from Alwar, Rajasthan, studying at BASHKIR STATE MEDICAL UNIVERSITY in Ufa, Russia, has been missing for the past three days. His family is devastated. The university has informed his parents that they are “trying to find him,” but there has been no concrete update or progress so far. Some of Ajit’s friends have mentioned that he was struggling with academic pressure and personal issues. Shockingly, his clothes and phone were found near a river, raising serious concerns about his safety and well-being. His parents are left in anguish, asking: • What has happened to our son? • Why is it taking so long to find one person? • Are the Russian authorities even taking this matter seriously? • Has the university officially in touch with the family? So many questions. No answers. Only promises that “we are trying.” Is sending our children abroad no longer safe? How can parents trust universities with the safety and mental well-being of their children? We urge everyone to share this post widely. Let the world know. Let the authorities feel the urgency. Let Ajit’s family know they are not alone. @IndEmbMoscow @MEAIndia @DrSJaishankar

.@gupta_rekha @CMODelhi In the same state, Foreign Medical Graduates (FMGs)qualified doctors are working tirelessly during their internships, often clocking long hours in hospitals, yet receiving no stipend at all. This is not just unfair,it’s demoralizing. FMGs contribute equally to patient care, emergency duties, and ward responsibilities. We respectfully urge you to ensure that Delhi FMGs are paid a fair stipend, just like their peers. Equal work must mean equal dignity. #PayStipendToFMGs
@gupta_rekha

.@NbeIndia conducts both FMGE and NEET PG. Every time,FMGs face the same challenges many score well in GTs and recall sessions, yet receive unexpectedly low marks in the actual exam. This time, even NEET PG candidates are raising similar concerns. There must be transparency in the evaluation process to ensure fairness and trust. #neetpg2025 #fmgejune2025
Lot of differences in marks between the recall vs the actual marks as per the messages i have received post result Reason why transparency is important and answer key should be released .

I’m deeply disturbed by the apathy shown by the @ncbn led government towards hundreds of Foreign Medical Graduates (FMGs) who are being denied their rightful permanent medical registration despite completing their mandatory internships under @NMC_IND guidelines. These are young, qualified doctors who returned to serve their state after pursuing medical education abroad. Worse, when these doctors peacefully protested on National Doctors’ Day demanding justice, the government responded with detentions, lathi charges, and intimidation. Is this how we treat our own medical professionals? Why is the Andhra Pradesh Medical Council still not issuing PRs despite NMC clarifications? Why are qualified doctors being left in limbo while the state battles a shortage of medical staff? This is not just negligence, it’s systemic suppression of aspiring healthcare workers who deserve dignity and a future. I demand the state govt to immediately release permanent registrations, stop this exploitation, and allow these doctors to begin their careers legally and proudly.

Is she a cop or what? Is this the way you behave with a doctor? All medical fraternity should unite & condemn such acts. If we begin FMGs face now it's not so far that other doctors may face soon or later.

Chandrababu Garu, isn’t this an utterly disgraceful government? How can you justify unleashing the police on students who have completed their medical education abroad? Despite clearing the Foreign Medical Graduate (FMG) Examination as per NMC (National Medical Commission) guidelines and completing their internships here itself, why is your government refusing to issue them Permanent Registration (PR) numbers? This is just a procedural formality. Why are you harassing them by deliberately withholding it? Is this how governance is supposed to function? Is it your policy to attack those who question your mistakes with the police force? For the past year, you have been discriminating against these students, exploiting them in the name of internships and forcing them into prolonged unpaid labour to benefit private medical colleges. Isn’t it a fact that you are intentionally denying them PR numbers to serve the vested interests of private institutions? Parents have sold properties and taken loans to educate their children abroad with the dream of seeing them become doctors. Those students worked hard, completed their courses and returned with hope. But your government is treating them like outcasts, pushing their careers into darkness. How fair is this injustice? Isn't it clear that your government’s aim is to demoralize these students? When our government was in power, we worked hard to ensure that students would not need to go abroad. We initiated 17 government medical colleges with 2,550 new seats and five of them were already operational. The remaining were progressing rapidly. But after coming to power, your government stalled all of them. Is there any other instance in the country’s history where a government rejected seats allocated by the central government? Yours is the only one. For the sake of your corruption, you are plotting to privatize those colleges. You even wrote back to the NMC refusing the seats sanctioned for Pulivendula Medical College, destroying the future of countless students. Now the very students who opted for foreign education to reduce costs and completed their degrees with immense struggle are being harassed by denying them PR numbers. Worse, when they question this injustice, you send them to police stations. What kind of deep-seated grudge do you hold against these students and their families, Chandrababu? I demand that your government immediately issue relieving orders to all students who have completed their internships and grant Permanent Registration numbers to all candidates who have cleared the FMG exam strictly in accordance with NMC guidelines.
