You know wny it won't go away? Because the big 12 never wanted byu to begin with, and only took them out of desperation after Texas and Oklahoma left. byu fans should be the biggest SEC fans because if it wasn't for the SEC, they'd be rotting in independence right now.
Big 12 fines UCF for you-know-what during the BYU game. An issue that unfortunately won't go away

Quick history lesson on why the University of Utah still gets a bad rap. Starting in the 1960s, the U brought in left-leaning economists from Berkeley who left amid the anti-communist climate. E.K. Hunt, Hans Ehrbar, and Al Campbell brought Marxian analysis, class-struggle framing, and a strong preference for heavy state intervention. That set the tone in Econ, and it bled into the other social sciences and, over time, much of campus culture. I was in the department from 2000 to 2002 and saw it firsthand. That's the campus a lot of parents still picture, from the '90s, the 2000s, or what a friend told them. But it's an outdated view. Look at what the university has built: on-campus housing, a real Greek system, and the closest thing in Utah to a true college experience, similar to what you'd find at a Big Ten or SEC school. To each their own, but stuff happens on every college campus, and people love to point out the misgivings. Parents who write the U off are missing out on a great experience for their kids. @NormieUtah
It used take moral courage to speak out as a conservative at the University of Utah. Now it takes moral AND physical courage to speak out as a conservative at the University of Utah. Taxpayers deserve better. Taylor Randall @PresidentUofU has had 5+ years to right the ship. It has gotten worse. He is now the problem and needs to be replaced. 😡

Utah proved it could respond against Houston. Now comes playing cleaner from the start. Better communication up front, Noah Bennee’s steady production and contributions beyond the ball are shaping the Utes’ approach to Cincinnati. sports.ksl.com/ncaa/utah/uta…

You hear that, everyone? The Big Ten will only allow their schools to spend up to $49 million on their rosters.
NEWS: The Big Ten chancellors and presidents are adopting facets of what’s in the Protect College Sports act, in what the league says is the bill’s “anticipated passage.” This includes a cap of athletic spending of $49 million per institution on athletes. Per the release Big Ten conference-level rule limits institutional involvement in arranging third-party NIL agreements to a maximum of $27.5 million per member institution. (That's permitted by the House Injunctive Relief Settlement).

BREAKING: Michigan Expected to Move On From Kyle Whittingham After Just One Season, Sources Say I got off several calls this morning, and what I’m hearing out of Ann Arbor is nothing short of stunning. It’s been just 10 months since longtime Utah head coach Kyle Whittingham accepted the Michigan job. Now, I’m told his time in Ann Arbor is already nearing its end. Barring a miraculous turnaround that ends with a national championship, sources tell me Michigan intends to move on from Whittingham after just one season. The driving force behind this decision? Money. I’m told several major Michigan donors who heavily funded the construction of this roster have grown increasingly frustrated with the direction of the program and have threatened to withdraw their financial support unless a coaching change is made. One particularly influential voice behind the scenes? Dave Portnoy. Sources indicate Portnoy has been among those pushing for change behind closed doors, with influential donors maintaining that Michigan remains one of the premier jobs in college football and believing the university can make a significant upgrade at head coach. But there’s one massive financial obstacle. Whittingham signed a five-year contract, and firing him without cause would reportedly trigger a buyout worth approximately $24.75 million to $25.8 million, representing 75% of his remaining guaranteed salary. When I specifically asked about the financial implications of such a move, one source dismissed the figure as nothing more than “a splash in the bucket.” The message coming out of Ann Arbor is becoming increasingly clear: Those financing Michigan football believe the program can do better, and they’re willing to spend whatever it takes to make that happen. More to come.

Until we see colder air, we certainly won’t see powder as soft as McAfee anytime soon.
Replying to @TaylorWAnderson
Because it’s either true or McAfee is softer than an aardvark in a sauna.

This entire narrative does not add up. He felt uncomfortable because of a post that called him corny? If you think that is unbelievable it’s because it is. Something obviously happened because PM was excited to be there at the opening and even took off his shirt! But then his mood did a 180 change 3 hours later at the end of the show and he said he would not want to come back to the U. So what happened during those 3 hours between the beginning of GameDay (GD) and the end of it? The only thing that makes sense is that his pride was injured. Well, it was injured. But not by college students on a social media post. It instead happened on live TV. During the first hour of the show, GD had Utah Coach Scalley on the show and PM was very complementary of Scalley, referencing their meeting the day before. PM was still in a great mood. The crowd told Scalley to “take it [his shirt] off.” Scalley, a devout Christian, said that he only removes his shirt for his wife. PM, who had just taken his shirt off before a crowd of thousands of people just 45 min earlier, was put to shame, which obviously was not the intent of Scalley. But that must have stung and it looked like it did. Added to this was the Instagram video of a Utah student mocking PM of how he takes off his shirt and they don’t need to see that. Which obviously stung PM, per his own words. Then, one hour later in the show, PM got irritated with the student kicker who questioned why BYU got $3M but she was only going for $1M. She wondered about the disparity, he did not appreciate the ingratitude of getting $1M for a single kick, which is understandable. PM’s feelings were hurt. His pride was injured. He then said he did not want to come back again to the U. Then, today, he brought in the Charlie Kirk assassination last year at UVU to describe how he was scared at the U? What? That is genuinely insane. Not only was there nothing threatening in anything seen on GD or on social media, PM certainly did not look scared or intimidated. Again, it just does not add up. PM just keeps trying to come up with reasons for being so petty and thin-skinned. When what happened is a simple explanation — he felt ashamed for what he knows deep down: it’s silly and even ridiculous for a middle-aged-man to succumb to the chants of a college crowd and take off his shirt. He was reminded by a real man of a similar age, Coach Scalley, that doing so is dumb, even though that could not have been Scalley’s intention. PM’s feelings were hurt, he crashed out on live TV, and now is reaching for any manufactured reason to explain his actions. When the truth is much more simple and does not involve crazy Charlie Kirk theories.
🚨 Pat McAfee GOES OFF on the University of Utah 😳 He says he’s never felt so uncomfortable, even bringing up what happened at UVU last year. “I did not enjoy the University of Utah.” HOLY SMOKES 💀
