Like India, Israel follows a parliamentary system. A party needs 61 out of 120 seats to form a majority government.
Netanyahu party won 53 seats, while the opposition led by Gadi Eizenkot won 48 seats. Arab parties secured 19 seats.
Both sides could have joined hands with the Arab parties to form a government, but they refused.
Now, Israel may face another election after six months. But they are not willing to compromise their principles just to gain power.
Meanwhile, in India, some politicians will shake hands with anyone just to become the ruling party.
Israel has shown us that power is temporary, but principles matter.
Our politicians have a lot to learn.

जंजीरों में कैद करके ज़ैनब को 750 किमी दूर कुफा (इराक) से दमास्कस (सीरिया) ले जाया गया।
ये लंबी यात्रा जंजीरों में कैद बच्चों और महिलाओं पर बहुत भारी पड़ी और कई ने सर्दियों में तड़पकर दम तोड़ दिया। दमास्कस में पहुँचने के बाद उन्हें 72 घंटों तक बाज़ार के चौराहे पर खड़ा रखा गया।
उस समय जंग जीतने वाली फौज हारने वाली फौज के लोगों का कटा हुआ सिर साथ लेकर जाती थी और अपनी जीत का जश्न मनाती थी। इस पूरे सफर में जैनब के साथ उसके भाई हुसैन और अब्बास का कटा हुए सिर साथ लाया गया था।
बाद में यजीद से ज़ैनब ने माँग की थी की उन्हें शहीदों के सिर लौटा दिए जाएं और उन्हें एक घर दिया जाए जहाँ वो मातम मना सकें।।मोहम्मद साहब के गुजर जाने के तीन महीने में ही उनकी बेटी फातिमा की घर में घुसकर निर्मम हत्या कर दी गई थी।
उनके दामाद अली को रमजान में नमाज पढ़ते हुए मारा गया। बड़े नवासे को जहर दिया गया और छोटे नवासे को कर्बला के मैदान में तीन दिन तक भूख और प्यास से तड़पाने के बाद शहीद कर दिया गया।
जैनब मोहम्मद साहब की नवासी थी जो जंजीरों में कैद नए खलिफा यजीद के सामने खड़ी थी। कमाल की बात ये थी जब ये सब हो रहा था उस समय ना अमेरिका बना था, ना इजरायल था, ना हथियार बेचने वाली कंपनियाँ थी और जो ये सब कर रहे थे वो भी कोई गैर नहीं थे।
ये जौहर करती औरतें, तबाह होते विजननगर और देवगिरी, लाशों की बेकद्री, कटे हुए सिरों के पिरामिड ये सब तो भारत में बाद में आया। इस मानसिकता का सबसे पहला पीड़ित मोहम्मद साहब का परिवार ही बना। उधर कर्बला के मैदान में 70 का सामना हजारों से था, इधर चमकौर के युद्ध में 40 का 10 हजार से।
उधर मोहम्मद साहब का परिवार था, इधर गुरू गोविंद सिंह का। उधर शहीद हुसैन का कटा शीश उनकी चार साल की बेटी को खाने की थाल में सजा कर दिया गया, इधर दारा का कटा शीश शाहजहां को खाने की थाल में दिया गया। उधर जैनब यजीद से अपने भाईयों का कटा हुआ शीश माँग रही थी ताकि उनका मातम मनाया जा सके, इधर सोनीपत का कुशाल सिंह दहिया गुरू तेगबहादुर के शीश को ससम्मान वापस आनंदपुर साहिब भेजने के लिए अपना सिर काटकर मुगल सेना को सौंप रहे थे।
उधर शहीद हुसैन की छोटी बेटी को तड़पाया गया, इधर गुरू गोविंद सिंह के छोटे बच्चों को जिंदा दीवार में चूनवा दिया गया। उधर जैनब को कुफा (इराक) से दमास्कस ले जाया गया, इधर बंदा वीर बैरागी को जोकर बनाकर हाथी में लादकर लाहौर से दिल्ली लाया गया, जहाँ उनके मुँह में उनके तीन साल के बच्चे का माँस डाला गया। उधर कर्बला शहीदों के शवों की बेकद्री की गई, इधर गुरू गोविंद सिंह के बच्चों को दाह संस्कार के लिए जमीन सोने के सिक्के लगाकर बेची गई। जो जहालत 7वीं शताब्दी में अरब में थी…
वो 17वी शताब्दी में भारत में भी साफ दिख रही थी। फिर भी यजीद तो शैतान था और औरंगजेब जिंदा पीर।
