A thing of beauty. 😮💨
The Damascus Milled Jailbird Mini. Every angle worth a closer look.
And yes, it rolls as good as it looks. 🎯
Takeaways from today’s round that no one asked for…
>50°, damp & windy is a bit chilly. Yes, Midwest friends, I’ve gotten soft out here.
>I couldn’t hit it much worse but not sure it’s possible to chip & putt any better! Putter was 🔥.
>Really like Cross Creek. Fun, interesting layout. Just wish it wasn’t an hour drive.
>Really, really need to get my driver swing sorted out. May be time to put @LeBaronGolf or @shkeengolf on speed dial. ⛳️

One of the great images in major championship history -
10 year old Eddie Lowery and 20 year old Francis Ouimet at Brookline in 1913.
Eddie went on to become a champion himself after winning the Massachusetts Amateur in 1927 and later built a fortune as a multi-millionaire auto dealer in San Francisco and sponsor of Ken Venturi and Harvie Ward.

RUONING YIN WINS ON HOME SOIL 🏆
She takes home the @BuickLpga title in Shanghai 👏
Got the full story on this today… Guy hit a bunker shot, went to knock the sand off his shoes with his wedge & accidentally hit his ankle instead. Hard. Took an awkward step getting out of the bunker & turned what was likely already a break into a compound fracture! 😳☹️🩼⛳️
I’m a morning tee time guy but chased daylight yesterday for the first time in a long time. Finally drove it OK & punched greens didn’t help scoring but the real story was the ambulance by 13 green. Not sure I’ve ever seen one on a course before. Saw it when we were on 4 & didn’t get the story until we cart girl came around on 7… Guy broke his ankle, COMPOUND FRACTURE, walking off the green. No idea how that’s even possible but wish him a full & speedy recovery. 🚑⛳️
So, I got out at 8:50am! Yay me! Got to play with the head pro, his wife & another guy who works at the course. Fun group! I played well for most of the round but a couple of poor driver swings derailed my score. Again. As has happened several times lately. Really, REALLY need to figure out the cause & fix. ⛳️😡
Pitch dark, 35 minute drive to the course without a tee time. Drizzly & windy. At the shop 10 minutes before it opens (65 minutes before the first group) & still not first in line. SoCal golf scene for you. Wish me luck! ⛳️
Thursday night volleyball date with the SuperWife watching @USUVolleyball vs. @AztecVB. Great so far except some bad traffic to get here. 🤷♂️🏐

Second-year pro and cancer survivor Ian Gilligan is headed to the @PGATour!
The @GatorsGolf alum finished 17th on the Korn Ferry Tour Points List after sweating out the bubble at the season finale.

Thrilled for Ian Gilligan, one of 20 players to earn their PGA Tour card at the KFT Championship this afternoon
Gilligan beat cancer when he was 15. He was one of 20 kids worldwide diagnosed with a rare form of lymphoma, one that forced him to spend months in the hospital
He went on to play collegiately at Long Beach State, then finished at Florida and is now heading to the PGA Tour. A great story!
