Have had some folks lately (all good, nice people) that were wired to ignore the good in search of the great. Hit the green from 200 yards: "I hit it a little thin." Hit the fairway on a drive: "A little spinny." A chip from off the green gets within a tap in: "Should've used my 56 instead of my 60." Look, I understand the quest for the perfect golf shot. Not knocking it. And I also realize that a lot of this behavior probably contributes greatly to the success that affords these people the opportunity to plays such a special and expensive course. But... There is some joy and contentment that is lost in all of it. Life isn't lived at the mountain top. It's a journey with a lot of different peaks and valleys. And along the way, there are countless blessings on the journey. Even in the imperfect stuff. Seek to be great today. But don't miss out on gratitude and joy for all the good. Happy Tuesday, Friends. Rooting for you!
