When person who claims to be in Aberdeen has missed the Port of Aberdeen adding 1.5km of deep-water berths and 125,000sqm of laydown space within the last 5-10 years, you have to wonder what else they don't know about.
We don’t have harbour facilities in Scotland! If we did we could export our own produce from here instead of transporting it to English ports O but wait that would upset england

Scotland has a balance of payments of about 10% of GDP. Assuming it staid the same with independence* that means a vast amount of capital leaving Scotland. The only ways to reduce the flow would be cuts to real incomes and massive interest rate hikes.

* As we would see all the damage of Brexit replicated but on a larger scale, we could expect to see it increase, especially if people see the risks and decide to redomicile their assets.

Is that the same Prof Murphy who told the Scottish Parliament that his figures were not based on actual research, and couldn't name a single country that used the methodology he does?

Ireland has no way of detecting aircraft without transponders or reacting to them if they do spot them. It has no way to detect submarines, or attack them.

One figure that stands out is defence. Scotland is "charged" £5.1bn by England, to be defended. This is more than double what Ireland spends on its own defence.

Mary doesn't know that the Scottish Government opposed zonal pricing because although it would lead to price cuts in the short terms it would kill energy investment on Scotland and put up prices in the medium and long term.
If Milliband hadn’t refused zonal pricing, our hospitals wouldn’t be struggling with massive bills(which have just gone up again), for scanners etc.

George thinks GERS covers payments between private companies, showing he hasn't read GERS. George also doesn't know that providing the grid infrastructure costs well over £1bn a year, so what this charnge means is a slight reduction in the subsidy Scottish producers get.

1. Yes, we do, thanks to rUK subsidy. But unless you have a way to store it then you find that we are able to rely on renewables alone only about 50% of the time. 2. Yes it is. 3. Okay. 1 suggests we need a source other than renewables and 2 is irrelevant.

Last night 71% of Scotland's electricity consumption was coming from nuclear. How do you propose replacing that?

A Scottish nationalist getting angry about a hypothetical scenario where the UK Government does something they can't do to stop something that nobody would be interested in building.

USA & Russia had a meeting in the Artic to discuss the Artic, London n EU were not invited With each additional ice breaker Russia adds to the Northern Sea route the more shipping increases. Any new port infrastructure on the NW coast of Scotland would get blocked by England

Mel has asked this question and had the answer so many times that she should be asked to participate in a study on reflexes. Hers must be remarkable to have avoided seeing them.

The real question is why does Westminster continue to subsidise Scotland?

Taxed as normal for export, so not at all.
Exports are sales they are taxed as normal, there’s no specific export taxes like the dumplings seem to think the likes of Whisky has

Phanual asks an easily answered question but blocks before I can answer. Partnerships are "tax transparent" not tax free. The partners pay the tax, not the entity. politax.com/post/was-brexit-…
🤣🤣🤣 u think mogggsbusiness is tax free?? 🤣🤣 and u think thisisbecause its a partbership it gets tax free status?

Bobbi has asked a question but then blocked me so I can't reply. He set up the entity in Ireland to retain access to European investors via the passport system. This costs money and saves no tax.
If that's the case why did JRM move his money and businesses to ROI. He said himself he was moving it. At the time it was common knowledge as it was with Dyson and Malone. There were many more who did the same.

1/ Something very important is being missed in the Peter Murrell coverage. And it explains why Murrell was able to carry on the embezzlement long after he should have been stopped. And why John Swinney cannot hide behind the “victim of criminality” defence.🧵

Not seen this one for a while, but a decade on someone still pushing the "unknown region" bullshit. scotfact.com/article_unknown…
Scotland pays more into the union that we get out and that's with the oil behind assigned to an unknown region and you lot claiming Scots Whisky as an English export you'll learn when the lights go out in what ever English slum of a town you call home
