Advice: Don ur well-fitting respie b4 you leave ur abode. Keep it on when in shared public air unless emergency doffing is required (to prevent dehydration, hyperthermia, to have CPR performed on you etc) Doff ur respie after you get back inside abode. Wash ur hands. 👍

No accountability in ANY specialty from my experience. Pts get tossed around like a hot potato. Neurologist saw these slices and told me to go to an Endocrinologist. Dude, you are a brain doctor, these calcifications are in my brain, & you got nothin’?

Glad they were able to! 🙏🙏🙏 I personally blame insurance companies & corporate hospital systems. They disincentivize Dr’s from ordering the needed tests/treatments & try to maximize the Pt load Dr’s see every day in clinic, reducing the time spent per Pt to increase profit

Most Dr’s won’t have time in their workflow to think critically about symptoms & tests or to even read the updated guidelines on Long Covid or any other emerging health guidance as our global immune landscape changes. Pt health outcomes suffer, yet profit increases.

Also: Elected Politicians at any level should not only be required to disclose their own & close relatives CONFLICTS OF INTEREST - They (& relatives) should also be barred from any stock market or similar investments while in office to prevent policy decision making bias.

So tired of politicians running on platforms of promises (lies) they never intend to fulfill. Or saying they’ll do something a specific way but once elected they do the EXACT OPPOSITE. Hypocritical actions deserve repercussions.

Politicians are not celebrities & would be wise to remember who they work for & why they were elected. We need to legislatively establish checks, balances, & repercussions for politicians who fall short of promises they make in election cycles during their time in office.

Health insurance companies are middle-men scammers & should be abolished in the US - they lead to preventable poor Pt outcomes more often than not (up to mortality) from denial of care. Lobbying is legalized bribery & should likewise be abolished - it’s why no change has occured

If they don’t test u, they can’t find anything to diagnose & treat you for. Saves insurance companies from having to pay out their “profit” for any treatments, therapies, surgeries a Pt NEEDS. Same idea behind prior auth & denials of the same.

It’s happening to mostly everyone w/ LC. In the US - doctors get paid by insurance & insurance companies wont re-up payment contracts for doctors who don’t follow what saves insurance companies the most money - less tests. So unless u got $$$ for self pay, ur at their mercy.

Gonna take 1.5 months of 500mg PO Mag Citrate a day to see a diff most likely, but nice to know it’s reversible. Sad we have no way to measure/monitor non-serum lvls of Mg in the living body. Could biopsy, fix cells, then mass spec?

Ok, broke my fast & took 500mg Mag Citrate w/ a small meal (two 250mg gelcaps). They don’t test my serum Mg often but I have been low b4. I think you are accurate in thinking this is the likely pathology - calcification is systemic - heart, brain, spine, & finger joints.

Sorry I’ve been MIA. Severe 24/7 headache upper backside of head, stiff neck, vertigo/nausea, bad balance walking, xtreme light/sound sensitivity, numbness on all L side of body. New calcifications inside skull on CT = normal & then FND diagnosis by neuro. What can be done?

Has anyone had any luck getting a 2nd opinion after a FND diagnosis? Or any workup at all after FND diagnosis? Very concerned for automatic dismissal & being mistakenly labeled as “malingering” or “fictitious” by MD’s.
