🔐 Appreciate the call-out to Gemini 4 Argon in this blog post from the Wiz team:
"Notably, Gemini 4 Argon made an invaluable contribution to finding the vulnerability, exploit development, attack detection, and validation of the patch."
"We’d also like to express our sincere gratitude towards [Google] for helping prepare guidance and out-of-the-box mitigations for customers who cannot apply the patch immediately."

CEO of Google, Sundar Pichai, on why Google keeps spending on capex despite negative free cash flow:
"The strength and durability of the demand signals we are seeing. To do something like this, you have to be confident at multiple levels. One is, I think we are fortunate to have early signals from such a diversified opportunity set, all the way from consumers to enterprise. We are seeing that robust demand signals."
"You are also getting sense of breakthroughs from research which give you a sense of okay, will Gemini 5.0 be much better than where Gemini 4 Argon is? The answer is yes."
"We also have durable long term contracts with committed revenue which we are signing, so it is not just hope right?"

maybe i'm taking crazy pills but winning big in AI, like winning really really big in AI, requires two things. it requires scale, and it requires vertical integration from workload through components of the data center...
and Google has been preparing for that war for decades
OPENAI AND GOOGLE STRIKE MAJOR AI DISTRIBUTION DEAL
OpenAI will bring its frontier AI models, including GPT-6 Astra, and Codex to Google Cloud in the coming weeks.
Enterprise customers will be able to purchase them through Google Cloud Marketplace, using existing cloud spending commitments.
The agreement follows OpenAI's expansion to AWS after its exclusive Microsoft distribution arrangement ended.
Gemini 4 Argon leads GPU optimization on Isoquant's new Inference Engineering Benchmark: a 4.38× mean speedup across 9 tasks, ahead of GPT-6 Astra (3.71×) and Muse Wonder 1.0 (3.66×).
We evaluate how well AI models improve inference performance across 15 tasks. 🧵

In just the first 72 hours since Gemini 4 Argon launched, we processed ~25 trillion tokens, the demand for intelligence is incredible and still under appreciated!

We tested Gemini 4 Argon on @depthfirstlabs dfbench, our benchmark for finding real vulnerabilities in code.
On application and smart-contract tasks, where it rarely refused, it found 74% of known vulnerabilities, the highest recall we have measured. Across all 165 tasks it scored 67.5%, second only to Mythos 5 (69%{.

Btw pretty bullish about Google being at the frontier for the big milestones, when all is said and done
ALERT🚨: NVIDIA has been working overtime, nights, and weekends after being shocked 🤯 by last week’s TPUv7 FP8 submission showing better performance per dollar.
Unfortunately for NVIDIA, its first GB300 FP4 counter-submission is still 1.64x worse in performance per dollar than TPUv7 for external customers across most of the end-to-end performance curve.
The x-axis of the graph below uses end-to-end latency, so a higher curve is better. The TPUv7 curve has higher perf per $ across most of the E2EL Pareto frontier.
This initial submission looks like NVIDIA’s first attempt to close the gap, but the gap is still massive. We expect more counter-submissions from NVIDIA as they continue trying to narrow the difference.

ALERT🚨: Last night, Google just submitted their FIRST TPUv7 Agentic benchmark, and it delivers 1.42x 🚀 better perf per dollar than GB300 NVL72 FP4, even on an external non-Google workload cost basis!
TPUv7 is even 2.5x better than AMD MI355X👇️ (1/3)🧵
$GOOG just broke open a 20-year quantum computing bottleneck by creating actual "magic states" and you're bearish?
Some magical progress towards "magic state" in quantum!
Our @GoogleQuantumAI team has demonstrated "magic state cultivation" on physical hardware for the first time. The result is a 40x error reduction on our Willow processor vs. previous methods, achieving a state-of-the-art 99.99% logical fidelity.
It's another step towards useful, error-corrected quantum computers to help solve the hardest problems. The result is published in Science today, watch the video below to see how it works

Just flipped it on in production
An insanely huge quality jump compared to Opus, and it's cheaper too ♥️

I did not expect Google to take the top of the @Signal_65 PINNACLE leaderboard this month.
Argon makes 13% fewer weighted errors than Sonnet 5.5 max and 35% fewer than Astra max in our testing for $0.87 per correct task against $1.08 and $1.51. The ceiling of the leaderboard itself is up 53% since September 5th and the price of a correct task on it is down 43%.
OpenAI, Anthropic and Meta have had the agentic conversation to themselves for two months, and this result puts @GoogleAI back in it.
🚨🚨 Google is back at the top of the agentic PINNACLE leaderboard! 🚨🚨
Gemini 4 Argon leads Signal65 PINNACLE (pinnacle.signal65.com) at its default effort, and at Google's standard $4/$20 rate a correct task costs $0.87, below the $1.08 and $1.51 of the two models it passed.
➡️ 13% fewer weighted errors than Claude Sonnet 5.5 at max effort and 35% fewer than GPT-6 Astra at max in our testing, with 100% of the multi-step enterprise jobs finished and 98.9% on the 128K retrieval corpus
➡️ 14 median rounds per job and 10,549 output tokens per correct answer, against 29 and 63,020 for Sonnet 5.5 max, which is why a job costs less on Argon at twice Sonnet's input rate
➡️ The top of the board has moved up 53% since September 5th and the price of a correct task on it is 43% lower
We priced @GoogleAI Argon at the standard rate on purpose. Google's $2/$10 promotion runs through November 30th and would read 43 cents; the number that maintains through December is the one on the board.

Congrats to @GoogleAI's Gemini 4 Argon for taking the top spot of our Humanity's Sixth Sense (HSS) benchmark with a score of 55.4%, edging out GPT-6-Astra at 53.6%. 🥇
HSS tests AI’s ability to reason beyond what’s visible, from hidden objects to predicting what happens next and understanding human behavior.
We took a closer look at performance across categories, and that’s where things get interesting. 👀🧵
Sergey: "We're starting to get onto that RSI treadmill... probably by the time folks are viewing this, internally we're already using a couple models ahead. So it's just very exciting to see the progress and the cadence, and I expect it'll only continue to accelerate." $GOOG
