FORMER LCV BUTALEJA REMANDED!
This morning, @AntiGraft_SH in collaboration with @CID1_UG and the @ODPPUGANDA, arraigned Higenyi Micheal Bory, former chairman LCV Butaleja district, before the Chief Magistrate's Court Butaleja on charges of obtaining money by false pretenses.
It is alleged that, between 2021 and January 2026,while serving as Chairperson LCV Butaleja District, Higenyi Micheal Bory, during every recruitment exercise obtained money, millions of shillings from several applicants promising to give them jobs under Butaleja district local government, which was not true. He has been remanded until 1st September 2026.
