I think this government is doing well. If a man who was on ₦70,000 now is given ₦70,000 addition that makes it ₦140,000 for him it's a hundred percent increase and if you know what ₦10,000 means for the real masses, you'll appreciate that Tinubu has shown that he cares.

University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital should pay me. I've been working as an intern radiographer since June 17, 2026 but I'm yet to receive any payment at all. I'm tired of trekking to work daily and owing loan apps. Interns earn below 200k here.#UPTHpayMe @UpthOnline

Everybody knows how hard it is to secure an internship placement in Nigeria. Is the management of the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital expecting these interns to forfeit six months of their salaries? Because this has practically become a culture in that hospital already.

JUST IN 🇳🇬 A heartbreaking video shows Medical Laboratory Scientist Vision Uzoma breaking down in tears as she alleges that she has worked for six months without receiving a salary, while some of her colleagues are being paid. 😢 She says her experience reflects what many young professionals silently endure in the workplace. @official_mlscn

Good morning, Prof. Chituru Orluwene, JP, and the management of the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital (UPTH) @UpthOnline particularly the Bursary Department.
We are appealing to you to please pay your interns and house officers. Pay them what they are owed, and please pay them well.
How can we expect healthcare workers to deliver quality healthcare when they are working for months without receiving their salaries and entitlements?
These are human beings with families, responsibilities, bills and basic needs. They show up to work, attend to patients and keep the hospital running, yet they are left without the financial compensation they have earned.
This is unacceptable. Making people work for months without paying them is exploitative and fundamentally unjust.
We are not asking for favours. We are asking you to fulfil your responsibility as an employer. Please clear the outstanding salary backlogs and ensure that these workers are paid promptly and adequately going forward.
Healthcare workers deserve dignity. They deserve fair compensation. And patients deserve a healthcare system where the people responsible for their care are properly supported.
PLEASE PAY YOUR WORKERS. THEY HAVE EARNED IT.
