The case for compute markets and compute indices begins with a growing imbalance: the ambition to scale AI depends on enormous commitments of capital, while the people financing that expansion face extreme market uncertainty. Building lasting AI infrastructure requires a better way to understand, price, and share that risk. Compute has become a strategic resource. Access to it shapes who can develop advanced AI, bring new products to market, and compete on a global stage. For companies and nations alike, securing reliable compute capacity is increasingly tied to economic opportunity and technological independence. The opportunity we are attacking is building the market infrastructure that allows more people to participate in AI’s expansion with confidence. That means giving a developer greater visibility into future compute costs, an operator a stronger basis for planning capacity, and a financier a clearer understanding of the exposure they are taking on. We have an opportunity to make the economics of compute more transparent and its risks more manageable. Doing so will support the next generation of AI infrastructure.
Arnold Ventures Co-Chair @JohnArnold on what’s stopping compute from becoming a real commodity market: “Compute is not a commodity where one data center is providing the same product as another data center.” “You either have to deliver into a certain product that has a lot of buyers and a lot of sellers… or you need some type of index that the industry trusts.” “There just aren’t that many short-term deals. Transparency into those is difficult.” “The distinctions between the chips and the design of the data center and all the specific needs is just different.” “Trying to either come up with the physical delivery mechanism or the index that everybody trusts to be right is really hard.”

$RYET +11% AFTER HOURS Ruanyun Edai pushed to around $0.89 after the close as attention continues building around its AI + education expansion. Formind Group, $7.48M FY2026 revenue, an ~$880K YeeZo contract, 10 AI labs and 610 workstations are giving traders plenty to watch. Momentum is clearly picking up

The company has now raised more than $1.5B, surpassed $400M in ARR and grown to 3,000+ customers, up from 1,300 in March. Harvey plans to use the funding to build more of its own AI models and hire specialized engineers. It also acquired agent-security startup Guardrails AI, its fourth acquisition this year.

New house prices are down 15% in the last four years. And for the first time ever, new builds are cheaper than existing houses. With the average new house selling at a $40,000 discount to existing in July 2026. Existing Sale Price: $434,000 New Build Price: $394,000 That's a 9.3% discount on new builds. But normally, it's the other way around. Typically, new houses sell for $40,000 more than existing houses. Because they are bigger (2,200 SF for new builds, 1,800 SF for existing) and newer (with less initial maintenance). Thereby comanding a higher price. But no longer. How long can this dislocation persist for? To see for your area, search ZIP value on reventure.app

⚠️The decline in China's Treasury holdings is UNPRECEDENTED: China's share of total US Treasuries outstanding is down to just 2%, its lowest level since 2001. This marks a -12 percentage point decline from its 2011 peak, when China's official Treasury holdings reached $1.3 trillion. Since then, China has cut its holdings by more than HALF, to $633.4 billion, the lowest level since 2008, during the Great Financial Crisis. China has now trimmed its holdings by -$183 billion since the start of 2024, according to the latest Treasury International Capital (TIC) data, which tracks foreign holdings and flows of US securities. China is reducing its exposure to US government debt, adding another structural headwind for Treasury demand. The de-dollarization trend is set to continue.

CPI today will be a very important print, as the Feds hands could be tied if too hot a print. $CRWV and $LITE lead the way with earnings beats, and even $SMCI trying to gap up giving its believers a treat. All these gains will be put to the test at 8:30am, so some levels at stocks to be aware of til then. $SLV - metals remain strong, gapping up again as breakout on the daily continues. 59 and 59.50 dip buys. gauge post CPI and wait til open $CRWV - smaller loss than expected plus big guidance beat. like 101.50 support $IBIT - might be gapped up but want this as a play on weakness today under 36.50 $SPCX - has support and resistance in easy 130 and 140 on multiple time frames. this will be a reversion play today Almost time for the #CPI print, join us live! youtube.com/live/45aEiyDhpPg
