Did 745km in the EV6 yesterday - Bangalore - Shiggaon (near Hubballi) - Bangalore.
(Pic1) - Started 8.15am, reached by 1.15pm.
Drive back - Started by 5pm, stopped at Zeon Chitradurga for a 14 min charge from 2% - 48%.(Pic 2)
Back home by 10.45pm. (Pic 3).
Total drive: 745km, drive time: 11 hours 45min hours in total including charging break and traffic jams between Sira-Nelamangala on the return.
No drama, no fuss.

Among those most educated, India’s birth rate fell below replacement many years ago.
India’s fertility rate has fallen below replacement for the first time in the country’s history, declining from a TFR of 2.3 to 1.9 in just a decade.
Delhi’s fertility rate now sits at 1.2, lower than Finland’s.

✅ Honda Begins Pan-India Testing of Upcoming Electric SUV
✅ Honda Cars India Ltd. has officially flagged off the first pan-India public road verification test of its upcoming Battery Electric Vehicle SUV – Honda 0 α.
✅ This marks a major step in Honda’s electric mobility journey in India.
✅ The prototype, first showcased at the Japan Mobility Show 2025, will now be tested across highways, city roads, rough terrains, extreme heat, and monsoon conditions to evaluate durability, ride comfort, efficiency, charging performance, and overall reliability.
🚗 The upcoming EV SUV is designed for urban as well as lifestyle driving, with global launch plans in FY 2026–27.
🇮🇳 The vehicle will be manufactured in India and exported to global markets, with production expected at Honda’s Tapukara plant following an investment of ₹1,200 crore.
✅ India continues to play a key role in Honda’s electrification strategy.

✅ Maruti Suzuki is set to commence series production of eVitara its first electric SUV at Suzuki’s Hansalpur plant in Gujarat.
✅ Hnbl Prime minister Shri. Narendra Modi along with Gujarat Chief Minister Mr. Bhupendra Patel & Mr. Keiichi Ono, the Ambassador of Japan, among other dignitaries will grace the occasion
✅ e-Vitara will not only cater to the domestic market but will also be exported to over 100 countries, including Japan, Suzuki’s home market.
✅ Alongside the SUV’s production start, Prime Minister Modi will also inaugurate the production of Li-ion battery cells & electrodes for strong hybrid vehicles at the TDS Li-Ion Battery Gujarat (TDSG) facility in Hansalpur—a joint venture between Toshiba, Denso & Suzuki.
✅ MSIL has a full-year target of 67,000 units for e-Vitara it has already ramped up capacity to enable production of nearly 59,000 units of the e-Vitara between October 2025 & March 2026, with peak capacity reaching up to 440 vehicles per day.

BREAKING: Here is the new Ford Universal EV Platform, explained by the skunkworks team.
Essentially they are going for an unboxed manufacturing process, gigacasting (they call it unicasting), LFP batteries which will be integrated as the vehicle floor.

Installed a 5 kWh LFP battery installed at my office to replace the traditional battery / UPS setup which had run its life cycle. This in in addition to the 8 kWh system I have at my house. These are end of cycle car batteries that are reused in the packs for stationary storage. Both working well and both systems supplied by @akhilkv . Some people are worried about end of life batteries ending up at landfills 🤦♂️.
