I need some business advice.
I’ve had the same comptroller for my company for almost 20 years. I hired him to oversee our finances, monitor accounting across departments, help prevent fraud, and ensure our money is spent responsibly.
Since I hired him, my company’s debt has climbed from $51 billion to $65.1 billion, while we’ve ranked among the worst companies in the country at detecting fraud. Spending has also skyrocketed by roughly $150 billion, all while we’ve been losing clients at record levels.
Now I have another applicant for the job. He holds advanced degrees from the University of Florida, Yale, and Oxford, including an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship, and has helped take multiple companies public on the NASDAQ and New York Stock Exchange. He came to America as a Cuban refugee and became a self-made multimillionaire, building a career around managing money, growing businesses, and living the American Dream.
Do I stick with the guy I’ve had for almost 20 years… or is it time to give someone else the job?

Carney and the Liberals promised to protect jobs during this trade war only to fall back on that promise and blame it on someone else.
Hey CARNEY, are you giving back that $500 million to the taxpayers, or is this another one that will slip through the cracks and into the hands of your buddies?

Americans Should Be Furious After Hearing This
Senator Marco Rubio says Americans “They've worked here their entire lives. They retire. They get $800, $900, a $1,000 a month from Social Security. — Somebody who just got here from Cuba 3 months ago — is given $1,500 a month”
“So imagine if you've been working here for 40 years and your Social Security check is smaller than the benefits going to a 28 year old, Able body person who just got here.
That's real. That happens. That's happening every day. That makes no sense.”

NY ELECTION ISN'T ABOUT TRUMP
It's not about Trump.
In New York. It's not about Trump.
It's about you. You, and how the governor is screwing you.
You and your family and your state.
In New York, the election is about the least popular governor in America and the most expensive and dysfunctional state government in the country.
It's about holding a governor accountable for five years of failure and fatigue. It's about understanding that the chaos in Albany is separate from the chaos in Washington, and while you can't do much about Washington, you can make a change in Albany.
And if you don't, you're going to keep getting screwed.
Your neighbors will keep moving away, your jobs will keep disappearing, your poverty rates will keep rising, your streets will continue to be unsafe, your schools will continue to fail.
Poverty? In New York City, it was 18% when she took over and it's 26% now, with similar numbers across the state.
Taxes? Business rates were 6.5% when she took over and they're 7.25% now, taking some $20 billion a year out of our employers' pockets. She has raised the MTA payroll mobility tax twice and folks in New York City are a combined 9.43% before local taxes are factored in.
Energy? Electricity rates have gone up 68% since she became governor. Natural gas prices have gone up 25%. And both of those are the result of state taxes and policies -- state taxes and policies signed into law by the governor.
Housing? Housing costs over much of the state have increased some 50% since she became governor -- compared to 30% nationally.
Education? Most expensive public schools in America, with middling outcomes in our best schools and horrific results for students in our cities -- and some of the lowest literacy rates in the country.
Health care? Health insurance is 40% more expensive in New York than in the rest of the country -- because of taxes and mandates signed into law by the governor.
Outmigration? During each year of this governor's term, more than 400,000 people have moved out of the state, far outstripping the number moving in. And those moving out have largely been tax payers and those moving in have largely been tax users.
Management? This governor had a wildcat strike in her prisons and two inmates savagely beaten to death by correctional officers and yet has done nothing to replace her failed commissioner or make the prisons safe for inmates and employees.
And the Tax Foundation says this governor's New York is dead last among the states when it comes to places to start or run a business.
And none of that is about Trump. All of that is about Hochul. It doesn't matter whether you hate him or love him. This is about her.
More of her constituents tell pollsters they disapprove of her than any other governor in the country. Her state is troubled and trending downward.
And it's her fault.
And it's your choice.
You can't fix Washington, but you can fix Albany.

We officially got caught relabeling (to Made in Canada) & selling inferior Chinese steel into the US using NAFTA/USMCA. The Obama admin caught us years earlier but were more polite than the Trump admin.
Now we been caught doing the same thing with Chinese lumber?
Can’t imagine why the Trump admin was concerned that section 32.10 wasn’t strong enough & needed to be clearer.
🚨 CBSA JUST CONFIRMED IT
Canadian plywood producers warned for months: China is dumping cheap, subsidized plywood into Canada.
Ottawa’s response? “America’s tariffs are unfair.”
Then their own agency dropped the findings:
• Dumped? Yes.
• Subsidized? Yes.
• Temporary duties now in effect, up to 227.5% on many Chinese exporters.
This is the second investigation. Canadian mills were already losing sales and jobs.
When your own border agency says the industry was right and China was cheating, maybe stop lecturing the Americans.
Protect Canadian workers first.

Ever wonder what your state legislator did before politics?
I checked all 213 of them. The answer isn’t good.
Nearly 1 in 3 legislators (67 of 213) spent their pre-office career as a political staffer, local officeholder, or party insider. No payroll ever met. No P&L ever owned.
37% of Democrats came up through that pipeline vs. 21% of Republicans.
“Small business owner” gets thrown around constantly. The real number who actually founded one: 33, just 15%.
Then there’s the man in charge of your money: @TomDiNapoli.
He’s been in Albany for 40 years, since 1986, including nearly 20 years as State Comptroller. He’s the textbook definition of a career politician.
Albany isn’t run by people who built companies or taught classrooms. It’s run by career politicians like him.
That’s what I’m running to fix.

The latest fundraising numbers are in. The conclusion?
THEY’RE LOOTING NEW YORK IN BROAD DAYLIGHT
While you’re getting crushed by the highest taxes in America, late budgets, and one of the highest electricity bills in the nation… the insiders are cashing in.
Governor @KathyHochul handed her billionaire donors $600 MILLION in taxpayer money for the Buffalo Bills stadium.
Then the Pegulas, owners of the team, gave her $174,600 in their first-ever donations: $138,600 to the state Democrats + $36,000 straight to her campaign.
AG @TishJames has a legal defense fund stuffed with $720,000+ from lobbyists and unions with business before her office, plus contributions from real estate developer Jeff Gural and Bronx DA Darcel Clark.
That’s not a defense fund. That’s protection money.
Comptroller @TomDiNapoli raised $403,538 himself… but the public unions he’s supposed to audit just created a brand new super PAC (CSEA, PEF, DC 37, AFSCME) to do his dirty work for him.
This is a criminal enterprise dressed up as government.
They take your money, give it to their friends, then take their friends’ money in return, and laugh while you pay for it.
I’m running for State Comptroller to rip this corrupt system apart and put taxpayers first.
No more pay-to-play. No more conflicts. No more insiders protecting insiders.
If you’re done being ripped off, share this post.
If you want a real watchdog who will actually stand up for taxpayers, join the fight.
