sure and maybe i should have replied to him and not you but "native NYers don't use public parks" is like maximum crackhead schizo posting, just not remotely true in any possible sense

How would construction on 42nd and 9th lower speeds in the I-495 express bus lane? I would have assumed that the section from 495 into PABT is mostly a closed system. How would congestion due to manhattan surface streets "leak" back into the bus-only section?

In this specific case "give up" was actually correct, whatever discount was on offer for LGA was obviously not worth it. (the uber was like $150 each way lmfao). I'm sure Newark would have been fine, or failing that, the JFK rail connection is quite good

The problem with large cities is that if either your origin or destination are not near a train, your trip is certain to be very painful. If neither are near the train, you might as well give up.

This feels like an insane thing to put in a document about transit governance during an allegedly conservative administration. Like what are we doing here

The domestic flight market is liquid enough that you're getting something approximating marginal flight cost as-is

Nate, Cheesecake Factory stands for ABUNDANCE LIBERALISM! Please take your reactive richardsonism elsewhere
Evan I thought your book was OK, and I'm certainly very receptive to the idea of D organizations having become too woke/progressive/etc but this Cheesecake Factory stuff makes you look like a humorless reactionary idiot take the fucking L.

Could God create a councilmember so stupid that even He would vote to impeach? 🧵⬇️
Every year, thousands of DC residents lose their homes over unpaid rent. Most owe less than $5,000. Going to court is stressful for tenants, expensive for landlords, and slows down the system. We need a better way to resolve rent issues. 🧵⬇️

I think if you asked them they would just give you an extremely direct “the army is good” shtick? What would the analogy even be here, succession?
