You can do 30 push-ups, add 28kg to your back, and still struggle to bench press 60kg.
Why? Because being strong at push-ups doesn't automatically make you strong at bench pressing.
Both exercises train similar muscles, but the movement, stability demands, technique, and specificity of training are different.
Your body can be strong at one movement and still be a beginner at another.
Strength is specific. Being good at push-ups doesn't guarantee a big bench.

Detox teas won't magically burn your belly fat.
Most work by making you lose water weight, and some contain laxatives that cause temporary weight changes.
Once you rehydrate, that weight can return.
Don't let marketing fool you.

Some gym-goers unrack weights like their joints are optional equipment, then wonder why something hurts.

Hot take: You don't need to leave the gym crawling to know you had a good workout.

The gym should be the one place where people feel comfortable improving themselves.
I’ll never judge someone for lifting light or being a beginner. We all started somewhere.
But sitting on a machine scrolling Facebook between sets? 😭
Things I will judge you (negatively) for at the gym:
- slamming the weights
- using the trap bar
- counting aloud on each rep
- drinking an energy drink during your workout
- using >8 plates per side on leg press
- lifting more than me
- wearing running shoes to lift
- Facebook Marketplace while taking up a machine
Things I would NEVER judge you for:
- being new
- being out of shape
- actually trying

Cardio isn't just about getting tired and sweating buckets.
It's a tool that helps you burn calories and makes fat loss easier when combined with the right nutrition.

When a guy approaches you at the gym and you think he's about to ask how many sets you have left… but he's actually shooting his shot. 😭

If “just train hard and eat” was enough, every natural who trains would look like this. They don’t

You can build muscle in a deficit if you do three things right.
Keep protein high (around 1.6–2.2 g per kg of body weight).
Train hard and get close to failure on your main sets.
Sleep and recover so the work actually counts.
Most people miss at least one of these and then blame the deficit. The deficit slows progress. It doesn’t make progress impossible.
