Real Christians don’t follow Trump.
Trump says that he will "take Christians to the promise land. And I've done that."

My only midterm prediction is that if Democrats win big, we’re going to start hearing a lot of GOP pols talk about how it’s time to “look forward” and how they’re “not interested in re-litigating the past” when they’re asked about Trump.
In 2019, during the first Trump Administration, I wrote: “One day in the not too distant future, Republicans will wake up and say, ‘We did this for this man?’” It’s taken longer than I thought, but I think that day is finally coming.

The Senior Day Care Providers at the White House took Grampa to the Reflecting Pool today to do Show and Tell. Your tax $$$ at work.
The day before Election Day, Trump does a show and tell with pictures of the inside of pipes

Remember all that the President has done for you - $6 diesel, $4 gas, tariffs, a brand new war, Argentinian beef, an abundance of soybeans in storage... #ksleg
Honored to be invited to help kickoff the President's rally in Salina last night. Now it's up to you. Vote like President @realDonaldTrump is on the ballot. Save our nation and our state! #ksleg

Well, there you go. We're getting all of this great stuff, so how can you not vote for Republicans?
Trump: We’re building the national garden of American heroes. 250 to 500 great American heroes in statue form done by the greatest artists in the world. Next to that, we’re doing the golf course.

Trump says we're building more factories than at any time in our history. In reality, factory construction is down over 30% from its 2024 peak, and it's still falling.

"We've made your lives miserable but suck it up & vote for us bc Dems worse." #ksleg
Dear Kansas conservatives: if we lose the senate race in Kansas we most likely lose the majority in the Senate. It could all come down to that stark reality. Sometimes in politics it’s not about a coronation but just cold reality. Vote Republican tomorrow even those of you who are hurting. If you don’t it will all get much worse. Your message of frustration has been heard loudly and clearly.

Trump: "They have something about 'Republican incumbent,' tiny little letters on the bottom. A lot of people don't know what that means -- 'incumbent.' What does that mean -- 'incumbent?' They have no idea."

After this election, even before they’re sworn-in, newly minted politicians will go behind closed doors in the swamp to pick the majority leader, minority leader, whips, etc., and to nominate a Speaker. They’ll vote for candidates who promise campaign cash, good times, good committee assignments, and subcommittee gavels. When it’s all said and done, your Representatives will also pledge their congressional voting cards to the leaders of RED team and BLUE team, who are secretly playing on the same team. That’s how your election will get stolen. I compare these Representatives to Jack who traded the family cow for magic beans… but in this version of the story, the beans never sprout and lobbyists eat the beef.

Gen Z is probably too young to remember, but the problem with pre-Obamacare health care was that women, older people, or those with medical issues were basically screwed if they didn't have insurance through a job -- they were literally denied the ability to buy insurance at all. This led to so-called "job lock" and meant that they couldn't leave a job to start a business or retire early (providing a job for a younger person). Now, anyone can buy insurance, but the costs on the exchanges for those 50+ are exorbitant. So "job lock" is coming back. Democrats need to adopt a greater sense of urgency about addressing this problem.
